Udi's Granola Review

Udi's was very generous to send me three nice size bags of their awesome granola.  I got the Hawaiian flavor, original, and cranberry.  These granolas are very deluxe! For example, the original one has cashews, pistachios, almonds, walnuts, raisins, and banana chips in it!  Verdict: these are delicious! They have 130 calories for 1/4 cup which is high if you were eating it as a cereal but I will use it mostly on top of yogurt and other foods.  I have always loved granola and when I found this company, knew I would love this too.  Click here to view all of the other types of granola and purchase some!

Tap 'n Apple Butter

Tap 'n Apple sent me some of their AMAZING apple butter. I have always loved apple butter. It reminds me when I used to go to my Busia's house (grandma in polish) and she always used to have it.  I have not had any for years and when I found this brand, I knew I had to ask the company if they would send me some to review.  I opened the jar the second I got it in the mail and tried it on some crackers.  It was SO good. I ended up eating like 1/4 cup in a sitting. Whoops! Then, I found out the most amazing thing.  There is no sugar added. I could not have been happier finding that out! Also, there are only 20 calories in a serving. SO worth it. Thanks for the amazing product!

Depth Products and Mineral Fusion Cosmetics

Depth and Mineral Fusion cosmetics sent me a whole bunch of their cosmetics and body products.  I LOVE THEM! The Depth products were great. The shave creme is coconut scented and smells AMAZING!  The shampoo and conditioner was wonderful and left my hair smelling good and soft.  I have never tried mineral makeup before so when I got to try this makeup from Mineral Fusion, I was quite excited.  I gave the lipgloss to my mom because the color looked more her shade than mine.  She loved it! She said it stayed on for a long time which is unusual for a lipgloss.  The color was great on her.  The eyeshadow was amazing too.  It goes on easy and stays on for a long time.  I love the colors I was sent also.  The blush was great too.  These products are not drugstore prices but not completely unaffordable either.  It seems like each container of makeup would last awhile also.  Thank you SO much Depth and Mineral Fusion for the amazing makeup/body products! I will definitely be trying more

Wasa Crackers

Wasa sent me 10 (yes 10!!) packages of their different crackers to try.  I have had Wasa crackers once before in the past but it has been years.  Before dinner one night, I broke out some of the hearty crackers to try.  I really like them! I think it would be a good snack to put dip on or make a wonderful appetizer out of.  The only thing is that they are pretty dry to eat and are difficult to eat plain.  They are very low in calories (35-60 calories per cracker sheet and eat sheet is BIG).  Also, many of them are made with whole grains and high in fiber! Here is a line from the company "Wasa is made using only natural ingredients, such as rye grain and whole meal flours, giving it high fiber, balance and making it a tasty alternative to low-fat bread. It is delicious, nutritious and perfect for an active and healthy lifestyle." With 10 packages to try, I will definitely be sharing some of these with my family!

Happy Herbert's Oat Bran Pretzels

Happy Herbert's sent me some of their oat bran pretzels to try. Boy were they tasty! They are thicker than your normal twist mini pretzels which was cool and I love that it is made with oat bran. Also, they have 110 calories for 20 pretzels, 3 g protein, and 2 g fiber.  Not bad for pretzels! This is what the company has to say about them " Bite-size pretzels with the down-to-earth flavor and health benefits of oat bran. Great snack for kids! Stone-ground whole wheat gives this pretzel an extra crunch. Available in Salted and Low Sodium."

Jolly Llama Sorbets

Jolly Llama Sorbet sent me two flavors of their sorbets to try.  I got the mango and the acai berry.  I tried the mango one before I even put the boxes in the freezer upon receiving them.  It was so smooth! It was honestly smoother than ice cream and tasted just as creamy even though there is not cream in it.  The flavor tasted just like a fresh mango.  Also, these are fat free which is awesome and has 80 calories for the mango and 70 for the acai berry.  Also, I LOVE the name of the brand.  My husband and I have a few inside jokes about llamas from when he met me.  One of the first times he met my mom he did a funny accent and said "I will give you 40 llamas for your daughters hand in marriage" and llamas have been a favorite of ours since! Anyways,  I really liked this sorbet and would def. recommend it!

Xagave!

I have never tried agave nectar before and was very excited to! I got sent this bottle to sample from Xagave agave nectar.  I was pleasantly surprised! I liked it a lot and added a little to my oatmeal.  It was sweeter than sugar so you did not need a lot.  I have heard a lot of things about agave nectar so was very excited to try it out.  Here is something interesting that the company had to say: " Xagave is a low-glycemic index food (approximately 30) that will save you 25% to 40% in calories without the harmful effects of sugar and artificial sweeteners. Sugar is a high glycemic food that has no nutritional value. Honey has as high a glycemic index as sugar. Unlike sugar, Xagave contains natural enzymes, vitamins, minerals, including calcium and iron, and a nutritious fiber, Inulin, that studies have shown provides a number of health benefits." Very cool! Thanks for the new sweetener to try!

Bolthouse Farms Dressing

I have found a creamy dressing that I actually like! Bolthouse Farms sent me 3 coupons for free bottles of dressing.  I chose the ranch, blue cheese, and caesar.  My favorite is the chunky blue cheese.  It is only 50 calories!!!!! That is so cool.  It is very runny and light (in a good way).  I had never tried these before and really like them a lot.  Thanks for the great product coupons!

Just Tomatoes Freeze Dried Fruit/Vegetables

I absolutely love this brand of snacks but only have bought them a couple times because they are quite costly.  When I got them in the mail, I was very excited to get to have them again. Just Tomatoes makes freeze dried fruits and vegetables.  I tried the fruit salad mix right away.  I really liked it.  There are freeze dried grapes in it! I did not know that was even possible.  I would HIGHLY recommend this brand.  I have not tried the vegetables yet but will soon.  Maybe in a savory trail mix?? Thanks for the awesome products!

Utz (I LOVE YOU PUB MIX!)

I first got to try Utz pub mix as a christmas present a few years ago and fell in love.  It has those little brown breads in it like Gardettos mix has and lots of little asian flavored pieces.  When I thought to email the Utz company and they agreed to send me some, wow was I excited.  Yesterday, when I opened the package of them I was jumping up and down excited (sad I know). I love love love this mix and have a hard time finding it anywhere.  I also cannot wait to try these delicious looking pretzels and chips.  The brand Utz should become sold everywhere because I love it!!

Voskos Yogurt

So I think that this is the best yogurt that I have ever had.  Voskos does a wonderful job making delicious Greek yogurt.  When this package arrived in the mail, I immediately tried the fig flavor just out of curiosity of how it tasted since I had never had a flavor like that. It was amazing! By far my favorite yogurt even. I thought that it tasted like prunes and I love prunes.  It was not too sweet which was awesome and very thick.  Also, I had a plain non-fat one with fresh blueberries in it and a little Honey Bunches of Oats cereal in it.  It was wonderful also.  I would highly recommend these yogurts to anyone.  The only downside was that the fig one had 160 calories for 5.3 ounces of yogurt : ( which is very high to me.  Oh well.  I will just treat this one like a dessert when eating it since it also has a lot of sugar.  Thank you so much for introducing me to a new brand of yogurt that is going to make me search the shelves of grocery stores high and low to buy!

Sinless Margarita Night

So last night, the husband and I were very excited to try our new all natural margarita mix.  The only ingredients in it pretty much were lemon juice, lime juice, and stevia.  We made a batch of two margaritas for the two of us.  At first, it had a bit of a funny taste to it.  Something just seemed off.  Then, I got the idea to add a tiny pinch of salt to it and stir.  Then, it was perfect! I really like this mix a lot and will probably use it in place of our normal margarita mix! I think it would also be great made into a lemonade by adding some water and ice.  Just an idea : ) Thanks Sinless Margarita for making my husband and my Friday night fun!

Kettle Chips (WINNER WINNER!!)

I love Kettle Chips .  I have never tried these kinds before so I was stoked when they showed up on my porch.  I tried the fully loaded baked potato flavor and wow.  They are salty, flavorful, and of course super crunchy.  The rest of this bag will probably be going to my husband because he LOVES Kettle Chips.  Also, the sweet onion flavor is wonderful.  This one is my favorite and I will be keeping these (HUSBAND...stay away!) The Good On Ya bar

The Good on Ya bar sent me 3 samples to try of their products.  Unfortunately, I was not a fan.  I did not like the gummy texture of the product and the flavor was lacking. Also, there was too many calories for my liking for one single bar (about 225!).  I have seen other bloggers like this product so this may just be my opinion.  Anywho, thanks for the samples!

Power of Fruit Bars (YUM YUM YUM!!!)

One of the best new foods that I have tried in awhile are these Power of Fruit bars.  They are one of the best foods I have ever tried in my life...no joke! They are made purely with fruit and have fruit chunks in them.  Kids would love these because they are like a regular popsicle and parents would love these because they are actually healthy.  I need to find out if they sell these in a grocery store near me because I NEED (repeat NEED) to buy these.  All of the flavors are good and they all have less than 30 calories. Out any new food product, you need to try this one.  I would rate these an A+.  Thank you Power of Fruit for your fabulous morning, noon, and night snack!
