Little in the Middle Jeans Giveaway

Little in the Middle is a great company that primarily sells jeans.  Their jeans are made to fit the curves of a women's body. The pants are made one size smaller in the waist and therefore, have a comfier fit in the hip.   This is great for women who have a smaller waist but have bigger hips. Collards & Kale

Tonight, I had a hankering for a big bowl of cooked greens and thought you might want to know how to make these super healthy greens! Steps: 1. Chop up a huge head of fresh collard greens and kale 2. Add to a pan with 2 couple tablespoons of heated oil in it. 3. Stir constantly for about 3 minutes. 4. If you run out of liquid and your greens starts to burn, add about 1/4 cup water and continue to stir. 5. Add a few good dashes of garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. 6. Turn off the heat and add several squirts of red wine vinegar. 7. Enjoy! (P.S. I topped mine with shredded parmesan cheese for little calcium and protein. Okay, more like because I wanted to!) These greens are so good for you and are very simple to make! Try them!!

21st Birthday Weekend Continued

 My birthday started with the puppies cuddling/posing which always means that it's going to be a good day! Pups! And then Ava dug me a hole outside for a birthday present (please note dirt on her snoot...haha) The pups beat each other up... Then it was time for dinner with the family at La Pinata (the most amazing Mexican restaurant located in Kalamazoo, MI).    The waiter brought me a free dessert : )  Then, it was time for the bar ; )  Troy and the birthday girl (note: I may not look very sober here)  Mom and I   Yes! I'm  no longer a minor : ) We drove home and Troy found a cat... and decided to pick it up ?!?!  And then Mom brought it inside......wow crazy end to the evening.  The dogs started to go a little crazy so we took the cat back outside.  The next morning, I felt great (considering...) and made some reduced fat cinnamon rolls.  The table complete with birthday roses, cinnamon rolls,

Easy & Healthy Chicken Enchiladas

  I LOVE enchiladas! I love the tomato sauce, the soft gooey tortillas, and the melty cheese.   Here is a recipe that I made on Friday night: Easy & Healthy Chicken Enchiladas Prep time: 10 minutes                 Cook time: 15 minutes Ingredients: 2 cooked chicken breasts- torn into pieces 1 can fat-free refried beans 1 large can no added salt tomato sauce 1/2 packet reduced sodium enchilada seasoning 6 small flour tortilla (you could use corn or whole wheat also) 3/4 cup reduced fat shredded sharp cheddar cheese Steps: 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Fill tortillas with about 2 tablespoons beans and 5 small pieces of chicken. 3. Roll tortilla tightly and place in baking dish.  Do this for the remaining tortillas. 4. Combine tomato sauce, enchilada seasoning, and water (as seen on enchilada seasoning instructions). 5. Pour tomato sauce mixture on top of rolled enchiladas (note: it will seem like a lot sauce but it bakes together nicely. 6. Top with

Go Green Lunch Box Review

Go Green Lunch Box sent me this cute and functional lunch box for review on my blog.  I got the camo one which will be perfect to give to my husband's little cousin who is 5.  He will love it I'm sure! Here are some neat features about the lunch box:  -The outside has a protective coating making it easy to wipe off. -There are separate compartments to keep the food from touching -The compartments lock so it does not open. -They feature a whiteboard inside to leave loving notes to your child. My Opinion: I love this lunch box.  I think that it is very well built and so cool that it even comes with a little water bottle.  It is a nice size so you can take as little or as much food as you want for lunch. I also love that it has four food compartments because I am someone who likes to take a bunch of different types of food to work.  Also, since you do not need to take plastic bags when using this box, it helps you go green and help save the environment which is great!

Wendell August Review and Giveaway

Wendell August provided me with this gorgeous Last Supper Serving Tray  for review on my blog.  I am in love with it! I am actually going to give it to my Busia (grandma) for Christmas since she likes religious items.  This is hard to do though because I want to keep it myself : ) It is amazing quality and even came wrapped super nice.  It retails for $38 which honestly seems like a bargain once you see how nice it is. My husband took one look at it and loved it.  It has a hammered look and would be great to serve food on or just to have out as a decoration. Birth of Beauty Review

Birth of Beauty is a great company that sells hair brushes, blow dryers, flat irons, and much more.  I have had the same brush for about 15 years (I kid you not! Also, I am only 20).  The reason for that is because I could never find a brush that I actually liked.  Well, I jut received this Denman brush for review on my blog and love it! Bye bye old hair brush! It seems to be great quality and is firm enough to go right through my hair which is amazing. This line of brushes retails for around $11-19.  This may be a higher cost than the cheap drugstore hair brushes that I have been looking at but it is one that will actually last me a long time.  I absolutely love it! Also, I was sent a couple travel brushes with a mirror and a red metallic one! These are great too to keep in your car or an office desk when you need to touch up your hair really quick. Wholly Guacamole Review

Let me start off by saying that I have never found a pre-made guacamole that I liked.  All the ones that I have tried have just been so different from homemade that I did not even give them the time of day.  My opinion greatly changed when I tried Wholly Guacamole which I was sent for review on my blog.  This guacamole tastes so fresh and tastes exactly how I make mine at home.  I love the little 100 calorie packs that you could take for lunch at work or school. I will be buying this guacamole in the future.  Also, many people think that guacamole is bad for you because it it high in fat.  That is really not the case because the kind of fat that it contains is a very healthy fat that is good for your body.  Also, I got to try Wholly Salsa which is also amazing.  It tastes so fresh and tasty.  I am particular with my salsa.  I don't like it too sweet but it has to taste nice and fresh.  This one was perfect! Enjoy Lighting sent me these awesome vanilla Flameless LED candles for review.  They look beautiful and seem like real lit candles! I have always wanted some of these candles and they are everything that I expected!  It smells really good and looks awesome. They require 4 AA batteries which is kind of a lot but you can use the rechargeable ones.  Also, each candle lasts over 300 hours which is much more than a normal candle! The edge has a realistic melted looking edge to seem like a real candle.
