$160 Erica Anenberg Giveaway

Erica Anenberg is a company that sells very cute jewelry.  They sell necklaces, bracelets, rings, and earrings.  The jewelry is quite classic and beautiful.  I was sent the 14 k gold Love at First Sight bracelet . The outside of the bracelet is in braille and the inside actually says "love at first sight". I really love the bracelet. It is a thin bracelet which I like a lot. I can wear it to work or on a date. I also wanted to mention that there was a little problem with the first package that I was sent. The company was amazing about responding quickly to my email and sending me a new product. I was very happy with the customer service that they provided! Here is some information about Erica Anenberg: " Erica Anenberg is one of today’s most creative and original jewelry designers. With a design aesthetic that is dangerously sexy, yet classically innocent, Anenberg’s inimitable style is unique, edgy and versatile. Her work has garnered the acclaim of fashion and p

Pestos with Panache Review and Giveaway

Pestos with Panache by Lauren is a company that sells different kinds of flavored pestos.  Here is some information about the company: Pestos With Panache by Lauren™ is the art of pesto at its finest: a total dedication and commitment to the pesto revolution. Our signature pesto is a Pumpkin Chilpotle blend with a smoky bite that has won the hearts of fine chefs everywhere. But that’s just the beginning. Pestos With Panache by Lauren™ offers a complete line of innovative flavors, each unique and special in its own right. I was sent the four kinds of pesto seen above. I've always been a huge pesto fan and was excited to try of of these unique kinds. I opened each one and took a little taste on bread. My favorite is the prosciutto & smoked almond followed by the fabulous fig and gorganzola.  Also, I was not a fan of the pumpkin chipotle one. It may be good mixed into a pasta though. The next night, my sister came to visit and I made whole wheat pasta with the prosciut

Chooka Boots Review and Giveaway

Chooka Boots Review and Giveaway

" Chooka was born from the idea that utility can be beautiful. The concept began at a small, Seattle based company, when third generation CEO, Rob Moehring decided to take a risk with the family company. It started simply, with bright colors and polka dots and moved quickly into everything from tattoos to leopard prints. The rubber boot changed from a muddy trudging wellie to a blank canvas, capable of displaying tremendous works of art." It's always hard to find a cute pair of rain boots but that is not the case with Chooka boots. It is a company that sells very cute rain boots in all different patterns and colors.  I chose these cute yellow ones for my review and love them! The pattern is called Posh Dots Mimosa and they retail for $70. They seem to be very well made and fit great. I think that the pattern is very cute and I would even wear them when it is not raining.  I can't wait to wear these boots to my parent's farm on a walk or outside in the rain

Almondina Review and Giveaway

Almondina Review and Giveaway

Just last week, I wrote a review about Almondina cookies .  I loved them instantly and could not stop eating them.  Then, when my family came to visit me this weekend, I let them try a package of the chocolate cherry ones and my siblings gobbled them up in about 5 minutes! We are all fans! The Almondina company generously sent me another package of these cookies to review on my blog. This time, I got a sampler of a whole bunch of their cookies.  I tried the BranTreats this afternoon and loved them! They are known as the cookie for breakfast and contain 30% oat bran. Three cookies have only 99 calories (a major plus!). Also, I think that the sesame is another really unique one because it gives a different kind of flavor with the combination of the seeds and the sweet flavors.  I liked it! As you can tell, I am a big fan of all of these cookies and would HIGHLY recommend them! Giveaway The giveaway will be for a sampler pack similar to the one that I received from Almondina. T

Saturday Night Fun

As I've mentioned a couple times on the blog, my family came to visit me this weekend. We had a nice time on Saturday night while catching up. I held the baby Issac (my mom's 70 lb Irish Setter who thinks he is a lapdog) Dad and Troy chatted over some homemade wine (and FlipFlop Wine) While Mom hung out with all three dachshunds!! It was a great weekend!

$50 Bella Viva Review and Giveaway

$50 Bella Viva Review and Giveaway

I have always been a huge fan of dried fruit and when Bella Viva agreed to send me some for review on my blog, I was very excited! I got to choose $50 worth of dried fruit and this is what I chose: dried pears, dried Betty Anne plums, dried organic pineapple, tangy apricots, pluots, and yellow nectarines. All of the fruit is very delicious and fresh. My favorite of all the fruit would have to be the pluots.  They are very tangy and juicier than most dried fruit.  The apricots are very soft and much more flavorful than most store bought dried apricots. I liked all of the fruit and thought that it was much nicer quality than other dried fruit that I have tried.  Also, it is pretty affordable too. I got almost 6 lbs of fruit for $50 (which is good for dried fruit). I also have to mention that Bella Viva fruit was featured on the Martha Stewart show. I love Martha and think it's wonderful that she would feature this fruit. Thanks Bella Viva for sharing your delicious dried fruit w

This weekend, my parents and siblings came into town and we went strawberry picking at a local farm in Fennville, MI. It was a ton of fun and the strawberries were so sweet and tasty. Have you picked any fresh produce this summer? Do you plan to?

FlipFlop Wine Review

FlipFlop Wine Review

Back in April, I did my first FlipFlop wine review  and loved them.  This time, I was sent the chardonnay and the cabernet sauvignon from FlipFlop wines. My family came to visit us this past weekend and it was the perfect opportunity to try these wines.  We opened up both bottles and got to tasting. Enjoying our Saturday night with some wine! My dad really liked the cabernet sauvignon which is one of his favorite kinds of wine. It was a dry and fruity. I liked the chardonnay and so did my sister. It was flavorful but not very sweet.  I think that my husband and mom liked both of them.  Also, for every bottle of wine that is purchased, they will donate a pair of shoes to someone in need to the Soles4Souls program! Something that I really like about this wine is that it is very affordable. Each bottle only costs $7 and it tastes great too! Out of the 4 FlipFlop wines that I have tried so far, my favorite is still the riesling which was delicious.  If you have not tried thes

Nux Clothing Review and Giveaway

Nux is a company that sells really cute workout clothing. "NUX delivers a fresh approach to activewear with a collection of engineered seamless designs that combine fashion and performance with comfort and freedom of movement." It was hard to choose an outfit to review because there were several cute options.  I ended up choosing the passion t-tank in lilac rose and the joy bootleg capri and think that they are great.  The top is really cute on! It retails for $49 and has a built in bra inside of it. I love the jaquard pattern down the front and the bright pink color. The capris are great too! They retail for $62 and fit nicely without being too tight.  I did a full workout in this outfit (Jillian Michaels 30 day shred DVD). The outfit stayed put and was comfortable throughout the whole thing. Also, the outfit soaked up my sweat really well while the outfit still felt dry. I LOVE my new workout outfit and would definitely shop from this company again! Giveaway Th
