What beverage to try on Friday Night?

Recently, I was sent a couple kinds of alcohol to review. Both are very good and I thought that I would share them with you for the weekend.  Hope you enjoy!

The number one thing that I love when looking at the Voga wine is the bottle itself.  It is a very unique tall bottle with a neat shape.  The packaging is trendy and fun.  For my review, I tried the pinot grigio and merlot wines.  The merlot is made in Sicily. The company says that the unique soils and climate weave a certain magic in the merlot grapes. To try out this wine, I had a small glass with my spaghetti. It was very good! Voga ads are being seen everywhere as the company is becoming more and more popular. The company also sells 3 other wines including the rose, sparkling, and the quattro.  I am very interested in tasting the rose as that is probably my favorite wine but it is not sold in the US! Hopefully someday. The Voga wine was very tasty and I would drink it again.

2. Partida Tequila
Reviewing tequila on the blog is a new to me item that I am very excited to be able to review. I am not a hard liquor fan for the most part but when it comes to tequila, I actually really like it. I prefer the gold tequilas usually. Since my husband is Mexican, drinking tequila is pretty big in his culture too. I was sent a mini set of Partida tequilas for review.  I was sent the blanco, reposado, and the anejo tequilas.  What's better than making a margarita when you have tequila? Nothing! So that is exactly what I did.  I blended a sugar free margarita mix with the blanco tequila and ice.  It was delicious! The flavor of the tequila stood out.  My husband and I are both fans and would definitely buy this again.

So my question to you is, what drink are you having this weekend?
I typically only drink once every two weeks or so and may be having some wine this Friday night as a celebration of my husband and I buying our first home!! Cheers!

  1. This weekend, I'll be having some of that Patron XO Cafe which I tried a few weeks ago and <3'd! Then I'll probably move onto some Crown & Ginger....a favorite drink of mine.

I do have a question though: how do you get these companies to let you review this kind of thing. I would <3 to do some wine reviews and maybe learn more about it, but haven't a clue how to get started.
