Vega Plant Nutrition Review

Vega is a company that makes different nutritional shakes, smoothies, savi seeds and bars. They make a variety of plant based whole foods. For my review, I was sent a variety of their products to try.
There were two products that I especially enjoyed. The chocolate covered savi seeds were great. What is a savi seed? They are similar to a nut. They are full of omega 3 fatty acids and are a complete protein. I really liked these! They are nutty and very filling. A small portion of the chocolate covered savi seeds were only 170 calories which is pretty good! They have 6 grams of protein and 4 grams of fiber. I like they they are full of protein which helped to fill me up for my mid-morning snack.

Vega Whole Food Vibrancy Bars

The other product that I really enjoyed was the Vega vibrancy bar. They are made of mostly raw and sprouted superfoods. Main ingredients include sprouted buckwheat, almonds, chia seeds, hemp seeds and saviseeds. They come in three different flavors: chocolate decadence, berry bliss and original. I really enjoyed the chocolate one! The buckwheat was in crunchy little pieces which had a nice texture. The nutrition stats are awesome as well. Each bar contains 180 calories, 10 grams of protein and 10 grams of fiber. The bar was very filling as well.

They also have a new program going called Thrive Forward which is an online educational series. It’s by the Vega formulator, Brendan Brazier.

The shakes would be great to drink after a workout. I enjoyed trying these products from Vega. If you are looking for plant based snacks and shakes, check out Vega.

  1. I'm a big fan of any healthy and delicious snack bar so this is just something to add to the to-try list! :)

I can't say I've heard of savi seeds, but they sound interesting, especially covered in chocolate. Hehe!
