Cinco De Mayo with Corazonas Chips + 6 Years

Before I start my review for the day, I have to say happy 6 years anniversary to my husband. This day back in 2007, we officially started dating. A lot has changed since then (in a good way) and I love him more than ever! I love you Troy.

I love Cinco De Mayo! The weather is getting nicer and it is a great time to celebrate. I have always enjoyed Mexican food and ever since I met my husband who is half Mexican, I have enjoyed the holiday even more. I was recently contacted by Corazonas to try their tortilla chips. I had reviewed their other products including potato chips and breakfast bars a couple of years ago and loved them.

Corazonas tortilla chips are made with all-natural plant sterols which are proven to lower cholesterol and help to prevent heart disease. One serving of these chips has 18 grams of whole grain, 3 grams of fiber and 0.5 grams of plant sterols. These chips are very tasty! They had a stronger corn flavor than many other chips which I enjoyed. I had them with some Charlie's Salsa which I recently tried.

For some ideas of how to incorporate Corazonas tortilla chips into your Cinco De Mayo celebration, check out these fun recipes.

· Chile Con Queso – this healthy version of the ooey-gooey favorite is a great way to enjoy the cheeses of the Southwest and with Corazonas Black Bean & Cheese Tortilla Chips, you’ll really feel south of the border!
Corazonas Guacamole
· Guiltless Guacamole – kick up the flavor of this addicting, creamy dip with a tangy twist of lime from Corazonas Squeeze of Lime Tortilla Chips. Add red peppers as garnish to make the bright colors really pop!

· Watermelon Salsa – a Cinco de Mayo party wouldn’t be complete without salsa! Instead of plain tortilla chips, dip Corazonas Lightly Salted Tortilla Chips into this flavor-packed, heart-healthy salsa and imagine you’re on a trip to Mexico! Try it with grilled chicken, it’s delicious!

What foods are you making this Cinco De Mayo?
