Vermont Village Applesauce Review and Giveaway

My heart goes out to everyone who was affected by the horrible tragedy in Boston. Something like this makes me really question what is wrong with humanity. Please keep everyone affected by this in your thoughts and prayers. I will continue to pray that they find the person that was responsible for the bombing of the Boston Marathon finish line.

I had first tried Vermont Village Applesauce when I first started my blog. I honestly do not even want to link to that review because it was so poorly written haha. I recently contacted the company to do another review of their products and they sent a nice variety to try.

Aside from homemade applesauce with homegrown apples, this my favorite store bought applesauce. It is completely smooth with no chunks which I love. It has a smoothie-like texture. I was sent some of the mango, peach, mixed berry and unsweetened applesauces.

My favorite would have to be the mango applesauce. It is so fresh and almost has a creamy taste. The ingredients include apples, mango puree, white grape juice, orange juice and vitamin C. These products are all organic. All of the flavors come in 4 ounce cups or 24 ounce jars. I like the small cups to take with me to work and will use the jars for baking with applesauce to make baked goods healthier.

I also really like the unsweetened applesauce because it does not have any added sweeteners and is plenty sweet for my liking. I enjoy having the option of having a lower calorie applesauce available. The only ingredients are apples and vitamin C.

Since the company sent me such generous packages, I decided to give some of these applesauces for my sister to take to work. She loves them! She said that she loves the texture at the flavors.

The company also makes apple butter which I have tried in the past and loved. I would highly recommend this applesauce to anyone!

  3. Thanks for the nice review. I help make that applesauce, cooking whole apples in small batch kettles. You can buy it at The Fresh Market, Harris Teeter, Meijers, Hannafords and most good chainstores and most Coops. If you can't find it, please ask for it, that really helps our company grow.
