Budweiser Project 12 Beer Review

budweiser project 12 beer
I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Millennial Central for Budweiser. I received a product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for participating.

When I saw the pitch to apply to try the new Budweiser Project 12 beers, I knew that that would be something that my husband and I would like. When I was selected, I was so excited. Budweiser recently came out with three new beers: North Pacific Style Lager, Vanilla Bourbon and Beechwood. My family and I had fun trying this beer over the Thanksgiving holiday and all joined in on reviewing these beers which was fun.

These beers are limited edition and were so much different than traditional Budweiser products. We tried these last Friday night before watching a family movie. We were at my parent’s house and got glasses out for everyone to be able to sample each flavor of beer.

Here is what we thought of each of the beers that we tried: Tasters included my husband Troy, my mom, sister Natalie, brother Edwin, my dad, his fiancée and I.

North Pacific Style Lager- This beer was slightly stronger than the other ones at 6% alcohol content. All three of these beers had a higher alcohol content than typical Budweiser beer. This beer was quite bitter, had a lot of hops flavor and was a lighter lager. This was not our favorite but was still a good beer.

Vanilla Bourbon- We could not believe how sweet this beer was! This beer would be perfect for someone who does not typically like beer as it has a stronger vanilla flavor. It was a thicker beer with sweetness. It was very smooth. My sister and my brother’s fiancée liked this beer the best. It did not have a bitter aftertaste but was still sweet. I think that this beer would be good with a sweet chicken recipe or with dessert.

Beechwood- This beer was a favorite of my family’s. It has a 5.5% alcohol content and was very tasty. My mom thought that it was not very hoppy. It had a good mix of sweet and bitter flavors. It also had a fuller body than the other beers. It was my mom’s, husbands and my favorite beer out of the three. I would definitely purchase this beer if I saw it in stores.

I very much enjoyed trying these new Budweiser special edition beers. It was such a neat event to try the three different beers with family. I had never done a beer tasting before and really enjoyed it.
