Sweet Treats Review

Alter Eco Chocolate

1. Alter Eco Chocolate- Typically, I am not a huge fan of chocolate but since Adalyn was born, it has become a treat that I love to enjoy. Alter Eco surprised me with a package that included these black truffles and dark salted burnt caramel chocolate. Right when I opened the package that had the dark salted burnt caramel chocolate, I had to try it. It is delicious and that salty sweet combo is awesome. The pieces of caramel are crunchy and similar to toffee. It makes the perfect after dinner treat.

The organic black truffles are awesome as well. I became a fan of truffles about a year ago and now really enjoy them. These are filled with dark chocolate which is what I prefer. Both of these are organic and I would recommend them if you are in search of delicious chocolate.

Honey Stinger
2. Honey Stinger- I had seen Honey Stinger products on other blogs but had not tried them until now. They sent me energy chews, waffles and honey. All of the products are USDA organic. First, I tried the pink lemonade energy chews which I shared with my sister. I loved the texture of these which are large and chewy. They are just like fruit snacks. I also liked the pomegranate passion flavor.

The waffles were tasty too. My favorite was the gingersnap flavor which is chewy in the middle and crunchy on the outside. I enjoyed these just as a snack but athletes also use them for quick energy since they are made of sugar and provide the energy you need during a long run or workout.

YummySnack Bar
3. YummySnack Bar- I was sent three flavors of YummySnack bars including brownie bar, peanut butter bar and coconut bar. These are rich in fiber and omega 3 and not too high in sugar. The company advertises that these taste like a candy bar making them kid-friendly but contain some healthy ingredients such as flaxseed, coconut and peanut butter. They are gluten-free and a good source of protein. They are tasty but do contain more ingredients than I would like. They would be okay for a treat though.
