Summer Trip Packing List

I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Charmin. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for my participation. All content and thoughts are my own.

In the summer, we take the most trips out of the whole year. I have always been someone who needs a packing list so that I don't forget things and now that we have a baby, we require this list more than ever since there is so much that we must bring.
We go up north to my parent's farm often and have a great time there. My mom does most of the entertaining which requires packing a lot of stuff. She is great at it since she has been doing it for many years. With a baby, it takes a lot of careful preparation to take any trip away from home.

Here are some of the trip must-haves:
-Food!! You need lots of food for a summer entertaining party. Planning ahead of time makes it a lot easier. When I have to plan a meal, I check out Pinterest usually for ideas. We pack everything in a huge cooler and non-perishables in plastic or reusable bags.

-Loads of snacks- We love to snack on our trips up north. Favorites include chips and salsa, veggie trays, hummus lots of fruit, etc.

-Drinks- Every time we go to the farm, there is almost always a party. Drinks of choice are usually wine and beer. Sometimes, we get fancy and have something like jello shots made in plastic Easter eggs thanks to my sister-in-law.
-A huge amount of baby stuff- We have a Google doc with a packing list for Adalyn since she requires so much stuff. I print it out for each trip and check off items as I pack them.

-Bug spray and sunscreen- With it being the summer, it is important to have both of these to prevent bug bites and sunburns.

-A variety of clothing- Even in the summer for example, we need long sleeved shirts and pants for our evening bonfires outside. Check the weather so that you pack appropriately.

-Toiletries- I always make sure to have all of the toiletries that I need for a trip. I hate being without what I need. This includes: razors, shampoo, conditioner, face wash, face lotion, shower gel, toothpaste, toothbrush, hairbrush, hair ties, lotion, deodorant, etc. I pack mine in a gallon sized bag so it is easier to see everything.

-Toilet paper- With a lot of people staying in one house and not a lot of stores around, we make sure to stock up on toilet paper ahead of time. It is not exactly something that you want to run out of! Charmin is a great choice! It has a clog-free and septic-safe guarantee. Check them out on Facebook.
