These Grilled Honey Coconut Fruit Kebabs make the perfect healthy dessert and are simple to make!

Grilled Honey Coconut Fruit Kebabs
I can't say it enough, I love using the grill. Meals on the grill are so easy and delicious. Also, it is not too hard to make healthy foods on the grill which I love. You do not need a ton of oil or butter to make it taste good. We do not make sweet food too often on the grill but every time we do, I ask myself why we do not do this more often. It is so good.

Fresh fruit
For this recipe, I decide to make fruit kebabs. Once fruit has been grilled, it takes so much sweeter and has that smoky grilled taste. Many fruits can be grilled including peaches, nectarines, apricots, plums, cherries, watermelon, strawberries, pineapple and more.

I added a little bit of sweetener to really bring out the flavor. The cinnamon and coconut are totally delicious! This recipe would be perfect for a snack or for dessert.

For this recipe, I used Madhava organic pure and raw honey. It is a quality honey that helped this recipe taste delicious. This honey comes from the wildflower fields of Brazil. It is heated just enough to be able to be poured into the jar but is not cooked.

Madhava sweeteners
Madhava is having a contest this July called the Backyard Bartender contest. The prize is a backyard bartender kit including a Blendtec blender, Madhava products and more. Check out the contest on the Madhava Facebook page for more information.

I like warming my honey with just a bit of water to make it easier to apply with a basting brush. We frequently use some mesquite seasoning to give the fruit a smoky/spicy kick.
