Why Oral Health is Important to Me

I participated in this sponsored campaign on behalf of REACH® and One2One Network. All opinions are my own.

Good oral hygiene is something that is very important to me. My sister is a dental assistant and keeps my family and I informed on what we should be doing for our oral health regularly. For my career, I am a dietitian that works with elderly people and see what poor oral hygiene can do to your teeth. Therefore, taking good care of my teeth is essential. (Please note: these pictures of my girl were taken a few days after I wrote this post- she found this toothbrush and started using it- I had to update my post since these were great!!).

I make sure to brush my teeth at least twice per day but usually 3-4 times. I also floss daily. My one problem with oral health that my dentist always notes is that I eat foods that stain my teeth. Whoops! What can I say? Berries, coffee and tea are some of my favorites.

It is easy at the end of a long day to forget to brush your teeth since you are so tired. It is very important though to make it a priority to keep your teeth looking awesome and prevent cavities.

I was recently sent some REACH products to try. I have been using REACH products for many years, especially their toothbrushes and dental floss. I really like them! They are often lower priced compared to similar brands.

I was sent the REACH® Complete Care™ Rinse which has 8-in-1 benefits making it so that you have to use less products overall. It helps kill bad breath germs, prevent gingivitis, reduced plaque, fights tarter build-up, freshens breath and cleans the whole mouth by foaming between the teeth with no burn of alcohol. It also has a toothbrush holder to keep the toothbrush free of bacteria. It has a dosage pump so you know how much to use. The REACH® Complete Care™ CURVE toothbrush has an angled neck and bristles to maximize contact with each tooth and clean your teeth and gum line well.

The toothbrush worked well and had my mouth feeling clean after I brushed. The bristles were soft so that they didn't hurt my gums. I liked the angled neck which helped to get my teeth as clean as they could be.

The rinse was great as well for when I want to freshen my breath and clean my mouth. I liked that the flavor wasn't too strong and didn't burn. It had a wintergreen type flavor and foamed in my mouth. After using it, my mouth felt very clean. You just use the pump to give yourself a squirt of mouthwash. It is nice because the cup is stored right on the container so you don't lose it. I would buy these on my own.
