Fall Grilling Ideas

Fall Grilling Ideas
When the weather cools down, it is easy to forget about using the grill. Every summer, I always question why we quit grilling until the following spring because grilled food is my very favorite. That grilled flavor is the best and grilling is one of the simplest cooking methods in my opinion.

Grilled Vegetable Hash
I enjoyed creating some different grilled recipes to make this fall. Don't cover up that grill just yet! Just put on a little jacket and some jeans if you need to and get out there and grill (I am talking to myself with this one too)!

Fall Grilling Ideas
I made grilled apple crisp packets using fall's freshest and most delicious apples, grilled fall-inspired vegetables and a homemade vegetable hash to top my entrée. My assistant and the true chef of this meal can be seen strapped to my chest in the picture above ; ). See, lots of fall foods can be grilled!

Fall Grilling Ideas
Can we just talk about grilled apple crisp for a second? I have to pat myself on the back for this idea because it is so easy and so good! Skip using the oven and have a hot dessert in a much shorter time. Plus, my version is fairly healthy. It has a light grilled flavor and the apples were perfect. Serve it up with some salted caramel ice cream like we did- amazing!

*This combination of sides and franks may not be kosher.

Yum! What an incredible meal. I would definitely make these items again, especially the apple crisp packets- easy and a fairly healthy dessert.

As part of our fall cookout, we included Hebrew National®  All-Beef Franks. I love these hot dogs! They are super low in calories so you can eat one (or a couple) guilt-free. They were great with the vegetable hash that I made. I like that you can tell they are a higher quality frank than other brands.

What makes a Hebrew National® kosher hot dog premium? It's all about what makes the cut (And what doesn't). We're choosy about what goes into our franks- we use only premium cuts of 100% kosher beef from the front half of the cow and then choose the best from that. No artificial flavors, colors, fillers or by-products. When your hot dog is Kosher, that's a hot dog you can trust. For more summer fun with Hebrew National®, visit facebook.com/hebrewnational
