I am going to be really honest and say that I am not a big football fan. What I am a huge fan of is eating delicious food during a game. For the Big Game, my family always gets together and has a party full of delicious food. We usually do appetizer type food and it is always a good time. I love watching the commercials, eating and just spending time with family.

As a dietitian, I always give my foods a healthy spin. These sweet potato fries are homemade which if course uses less preservatives. They are oven roasted and not deep fried which saves a lot of calories and fat.

The creamy and spicy sauce uses plain Greek yogurt and hot sauce for flavor which actually being quite nutritious. I can't not talk about my amazing new spiralizer that I bought and has been a game changer in the kitchen for me. Stay tuned for lots of spiralized recipes. It is so easy to use and the number of vegetables that you can use on it is so much more than my last one. I am in love!

  2. I find sweet potatoes to generaly have a harder flesh than regular potatoes. Do you soak them or something to make them more pliable and spiralized, or just make do with them breaking?

    1. I do not soak them but they do not really break either. I use the Paderno spiralizer which I really like!
