Products I'm Loving in 2016 Part 18 + Giveaway

Elli Quark

1. Elli Quark

Ever since I tried Elli Quark a year or so ago, I have been obsessed with it. It is super thick and creamy and is only 18 calories. Quark is actually not yogurt but is a cheese. It does taste like yogurt though and has 14 grams of protein per serving. It comes in the traditional flavors such as cherry, blueberry and peach but also has some unique flavors which are my favorite. These include sea salt caramel, mint chocolate, bananas foster and red velvet. My daughter and I both enjoy these.

New Zealand Jerky

2. New Zealand Jerky

My husband loves jerky, especially to snack on when we travel because it is filling and more nutritious than something like chips. This jerky came in fun flavors including teriyaki, original and peppered. My husband said that it was not difficult to chew and tasted great.

Banza Chickpea Pasta

3. Banza Chickpea Pasta

I have been seeing this pasta at my local farmer's market called Eastern Market and knew that it was a product that I would love to try. As you know, I love trying any new products, especially healthy ones. I love chickpeas and pasta made from them sounded perfect.

A serving has 14 grams of protein, 8 grams of fiber and 30% of your daily iron. The verdict: it tastes really good! I made a Greek pasta salad with Greek dressing, feta cheese, tomatoes, onions and cucumbers and loved the chickpea pasta. It had a similar texture to regular pasta and had a mild flavor which is what you usually want in a pasta so that it takes on the other flavors.
