I love making homemade snacks and even more than me, Adalyn loves it. We both love peanut butter, bananas and pretzels so I knew that this simple 5 ingredient snack would be a hit for both of us. I have been wanting to try this snack for a long time and finally got around to it.

I like chocolate but am not the hugest fan so I did not completely submerge these in chocolate. I prefer them half dipped in chocolate or to have chocolate drizzled on top. You can eat these frozen or not-frozen- your choice. I personally love the texture of frozen bananas. They are creamy and remind me of ice cream.

I topped these with crushed pretzels because, well, I love pretzels! The salty and sweet combination is delicious. These are a pretty healthy snack choice that tastes more like dessert. These only take about 5 minutes to make and then you just have to wait for them to freeze if you want them frozen.

This recipe uses my favorite peanut butter powder: Purely Inspired Powdered Peanut Butter. I have been a fan of powdered peanut butter for years and this one is delicious. It has 90% less fat per serving than peanut butter. I do not typically use it in place of PB but like to add it to different sweet and savory dishes to use in a different way. It can give great flavor to foods. It is only made with roasted peanuts, sugar and salt and has 6 grams of protein per serving. I also like it mixed into yogurt for a peanut butter Greek yogurt, I eat it daily in my oatmeal and it is tasty in smoothies.

  1. These look super delicious. Do you suggest layering everything frozen or prep it store temperature. Also when you added that you put your PB in yogurt that sounds really good. I'll have to try it (:
