Quest Bar Review

I have seen Quest Bars all over the internet and could not wait to try them. They have great reviews from many bloggers and come in many different flavors. For my review, I was sent a variety of Quest Bars to try.

Quest bars are high in protein and fiber and low in sugar. They do not use sugar, sugar alcohols, artificial sweeteners, soy protein or junk ingredients. Each bar only has 4-6 grams of carbohydrates. Most of the bars that I tried had 170-200 calories per bar which is perfect.
 The first bar that I tried was the peanut butter & jelly bar. This was very good! They have a very chewy and firm texture. I read that you can microwave these for 10-15 seconds which I tried. I thought that the texture was better once the bar was heated. This bar has 210 calories, 20 grams of protein and 17 grams of fiber.

The fiber content is very, very high so if you are not used to this amount of fiber, you may want to have half of a bar. I can only have about half of a bar at a time because the high fiber and protein can give me a stomachache. I pair half a bar with a piece of fruit such as an apricot or apple.

The ingredients include a protein blend of whey protein and milk protein, sea salt, lo han guo, sucralose, peanut butter, almonds, peanuts and water.

My favorite of the bars is the apple pie. It was amazing warmed up and included dried chunks of apples. It tasted a lot more like a dessert than a protein bar. I did not like the lemon cream pie flavor because I thought that it tasted artificial.
Cravings - Peanut Butter Cups
My husband tried the peanut butter cups after a workout. I was impressed how they tasted just like a typical peanut butter cup. My husband did not like that the peanut butter center was crumbly but I did not mind it.

I was very impressed by all of these bars and would definitely eat them in the future for great flavor, high protein, high fiber and low carbohydrates.

  1. i only eat the strawberry cheesecake one since it doesnt have sucralose (an artificial sweetner)
