Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Protein Ice Cream
I love ice cream...too much. In the summer months, I could go for ice cream every single day. The thing is, ice cream is high in calories, sugar and fat so it is not something that I should be eating every day. I wanted to make something that would be healthy, filling, satisfy my sweet tooth and taste delicious. The chocolate peanut butter banana protein ice cream was then born. Wow, what a title- but all of the ingredients are so good that I didn't want to leave any out of the title.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Protein Ice Cream
This "ice cream" is only made with bananas, chocolate protein powder and powdered peanut butter. I used powdered peanut butter and was worried that it may taste too healthy but it didn't at all. This ice cream is actually completely healthy though so it could actually be eaten for breakfast too. Ice cream for breakfast = a win!

This ice cream turned out amazing. It is the perfect treat without being too indulgent. It had a very whipped and airy consistency; almost like whipped topping. I love banana soft serve ice cream which I have been making for years. Highly recommend!

Blackberry Protein Popsicles
This ice cream used the Purely Inspired chocolate protein powder which I love! It is a 100% plant based protein nutritional shake which worked well in this recipe to give a boost of protein and nutrients. It is dairy, gluten and soy free. One serving has 16 grams protein and 7 grams of fiber. It contains a concentrated greens blend with broccoli and spinach. It is a blend of proteins including pea protein, brown rice protein and alfalfa juice protein concentrate.
