Power Butter is a product that is high in protein and great for athletes. It is made of peanuts, whole flax seeds, flax oil, omega 3, omega 6, and egg whites which all have protein. The product tastes really good and is great with apples or on toast. At first, it is kind of difficult to stir up but it just takes a few minutes. I love the crunch of the flax seeds. Even on a PB&J, you can still taste the crunch of the seeds!
The company says that a serving is 4 tablespoons but I just follow a typical peanut butter serving and think that it is 2 tablespoons. In 2 tbsp, there are 12 grams of protein which is good. I stirred 1 tablespoon of this into my oats this morning and it was really good. I think my hubby will love this pb too since he is trying to gain muscle and the protein can help with that!
