What kind of financial animal are you?

I participated in an Influencer Program on behalf of Mom Central for TCF Bank. I received a promotional item to thank me for participating. #MC

This is not a topic that I talk about too often here on the blog but finances is a topic that I am very passionate about. I love to save money in any way that I can. I am always reading up on different ways to save. For example, I use all kinds of coupons on my groceries and beauty products, I use energy saving products to save money on electricity and I regularly try to contribute to my Roth IRA and 401k accounts.

I can't write about finances without giving a huge amount of credit to my dad who has pretty much taught me everything that I know. He is my financial adviser and taught me many things about finances when I was growing up. To this day, I call him with questions about finances that I am confused about.

This April is National Financial Literacy Month. TCF Bank is wanting for us to consider our financial habits and take their quiz which lets you know what kind of "financial animal" you are.

I took the Financial Animal Quiz and found out that my financial animal is the coyote:
It says that I am a crafty scavenger that is always looking for a bargain- so true! It says that getting deals can be a lot of work but is worth it after I score a great deal. This could not be more dead on! Feel free to take this quiz and find out which financial animal you are.

I love learning about finances and always want to know more. My favorite resources to learn about money and saving is the Mint blog and other financial blogs and sites. I am always interested in finding out about how to save money, get rebates, etc. I just found out that TCF Bank has a Financial Literary Resource Center to give you information about money management which may be very useful.
