GB Asana35 AP Car Seat Review

When it comes to driving in the car with a baby, safety is the most important thing. I was recently sent the new GB Asana35 AP infant car seat to review. This new AP version comes with a feature called the FirmFit Load Leg. This helps to protect baby's head, neck and spine in case you get into a crash. This seat provides safety and comfort for little babies.

It has a FirmFit System to make installation easy. GB has been making car seats for over 25 years. The technology used in this car seat has been used in Europe for many years and GB brought it over to the US. It is height adjustable and fits in most vehicles.

The FirmFit Arm helps to give a better and tighter fit in the car which therefore makes it safer. It gives 20 lbs of additional force. The FirmFit Harness helps you to not worry about adjusting the harness straps. You just have to pull the front strap to make the harness snug and it will conform to the correction position on baby. It has side impact protection and the harness and headrest can move for safety. The weight is not too heavy at 9.2 lbs. It fits a child up to 35 lbs which is more than some infant car seats.

We are very lucky in that Adalyn likes to ride in the car. Unless she is very tired or hungry, she doesn't cry much in the car. She can nap very well there which is wonderful. Other times getting her to nap can be a whole another story..

The GB Asana35 AP car seat is literally the softest, most plush car seat that I have ever come across. When I took this out of the box, I immediately called my husband into the room to feel it. He even said that it is so much nicer than our current car seat (which we have always liked a lot). I cannot believe how comfortable it is! I don't know for sure but I am guessing that babies who hate car seats may like this one a bit more since it is so comfy. The soft straps on the chest are really nice too for comfort as our current seat doesn't have this.

In a few weeks, we will be driving 3 1/2 hours each way in the car to my brother's place for the weekend. I am a bit nervous since this is Adalyn's longest trip in the car so far but since I know that we will be traveling safely and can always stop for feedings, diaper changes, etc., I think we will be alright. 

I look forward to Adalyn riding in this GB Asana35 AP car seat. It looks very nice and I feel safe knowing all of the safety features that it has. It is very comfortable for Adalyn which is important as well. This seat comes in Fusion or Sterling colors. It is for sale on Babies R Us for $249.99. 

I am extremely impressed by the this GB car seat. If you are looking for luxury and plan to drive a lot with a baby, I would definitely recommend this car seat. To see the difference, at least check it out in stores for how plush the seat is!
