Must-Try Kitchen Equipment

JOCO Cups
1. JOCO Cups- I am a coffee and tea lover and have an awesome product to introduce you to today. These glass reusable cups from JOCO are awesome. Troy and I are obsessed! They do not get too how when filled with hot liquid which is great. At least one time per day, I use a to-go mug but have never had a glass one before. I love the mint and lime colors on these. The lid goes on really easily so I was worried that it may come off but it stays on there really well. I chose the 16 oz size because when it comes to my tea, the bigger the better. The day that we received these, Troy and I made a cup of tea after dinner and we were both pleased with these cups. These are perfect for your cup of hot tea or coffee.

2. Kitchen Frontier Lemon and Lime Press- I love using lemons and limes in my cooking but hate to squeeze them because I always seem to squirt myself in the eye or squeeze a bunch of seeds into my recipe. I was contacted to try this lemon and lime press. It is heavy duty and made to last. It is so easy to use too! You just put the lemon or lime in the bowl face down, squeeze the handles and the juices will be squeezed out.

It catches the seeds and pulp which is the most important part to me because I always have about 10 lemon seeds fall into my recipe and I have to try to pick them out. You do not have to use a lot of effort either which is great. It is dishwasher safe and comes with a lifetime guarantee. I have been loving to use this press which makes my cooking a bit simpler.

Portion Perfection
3. Portion Perfection- As a registered dietitian, I know how important following portion sizes is to staying healthy and fit. It is hard to tell portion sizes at times and you may end up overeating a lot more than you had planned. Restaurant meals for example may come with up to 3 or 4 portions in one meal. Learning what a portion size is can help you to know how much you should be eating and may help you reach your health goals in the long run.

I was sent these portion control plate and bowl from Portion Perfection to review. It uses the MyPlate method which included making half of your plate fruits and vegetables, 1/4 grain and 1/4 protein. These are excellent tools to use if you are trying to learn more about nutrition or if you are trying to lose weight. Around the plate, it reminds you to taste the flavors, pay attention to texures, aromas and to enjoy your food.
