Winchell Mountain Coffee Review

There is something about waking up each day with a cup of coffee that is so nice. Especially since I started my internship, I definitely need my cup of coffee in the morning.  Recently, I was sent a variety of these Winchell Mountain Coffees for free to try and review.  I was sent the beach blend, wide awake, amazing mom, and country morning.

The first thing that I noticed about this coffee is the fun packaging. I could totally see it in a gift basket for someone as a gift.  One Saturday morning, I brewed a pot of the beach blend coffee.  It is described as "a mellow mocha java".  My husband and I both really liked it! The coffee was perfect mixed with some vanilla soymilk. It did have a light chocolate taste and was mild which is how I like coffee. A 12 ounce bag of this costs $10.95 which is not too bad. The coffee can be purchased online for those who like online shopping.
Here is some information about the Winchell Mountain company:
We are a small, family-owned company located in the peaceful rural town of Pine Plains, New York. All of our proprietary-blend and single origin coffees are sourced, selected, and roasted by master roaster Bob Rivkin — a legendary pioneer in the world of boutique coffee — alongside his skillful apprentice, his son Will Rivkin. Our fine coffee comes to you perfectly roasted and exquisitely fresh, packaged in vacuum packed 12-ounce gusseted foil packages designed to retain that wonderful freshness. We offer an unusual selection of superb coffees. Each one is described in detail in this site. You may choose whole-bean or ground.

I have really enjoyed these coffees and can't wait to make some of them into iced coffee in the hot months of summer!
