Yonanas Banana Soft Serve Review

Yonanas is a banana ice cream maker that makes creating healthy treats simple. All you have to do is freeze bananas or whatever fruit you like, plug in the machine, push the fruit through and you have homemade soft serve style "ice cream".

I have been making banana soft serve for years in my food processor and this is another cute way to make it. Obviously a banana is much healthier than heavy cream and sugar so this soft serve is a creamy and light dessert.

I chose to make peanut butter banana soft serve. I added 2 frozen bananas, pushed them through and added a spoonful of peanut butter at the end. I was amazed at how creamy this was. It does of course taste like bananas but since it is frozen, you do not taste the banana as strongly as you would fresh ones. It can be disguised as ice cream for sure. I found this to be very filling and actually saved some for the next day.

This machine is fairly easy to clean. It unscrews and you can put it in the dishwasher or hand wash it. I recently saw this Yonanas maker at Bed Bath and Beyond for $50. It also is sold at Best Buy, Target, online and other stores. The machine comes with a recipe book with ideas for all kinds of banana soft serve. The next one I am going to try is pumpkin pie soft serve!!

I think that this would make a fun Christmas present for people who love fun kitchen gadgets.

I'm also definitely going to have to try banana soft serve. That's something I might not have any issues with!
