Life Lately

Life is busy right now in the best of ways. I realized that I have not done any life updates recently and thought that I would share with you what has been happening in my life that last couple of months.

Back in April, Troy and I celebrated being together for 6 years! We went out for a nice dinner and then met my cousin out for a couple of drinks.

We finally re-did our red room. It was awful but we didn't really know what to do with it since the walls are brick. We ended up painting it a warm, light tan. My husband and are so happy with how it turned out. Check out the before and after pictures.

Also, after these pictures were taken, the red carpet was removed and we got a really nice light chocolate color put in by my husband's friend. We love it!

We went to my brother's last track meet. He has been running since 4th grade and just finished college.

He did great and got 4th place overall in the 5k.

The following weekend, my brother and his girlfriend graduated from University of Detroit Mercy. Olivia is a nurse and Edwin has his bachelor's in biochemistry. Edwin is starting optometry school in the fall!!!
Also, the newest huge news in my family is that Edwin got engaged!!!!!!! Now they have a big wedding to plan which will be lots of fun.

Wow, looking back at all of this, I realize that this last month has been crazy but I love it.
