Veggetti Review and Giveaway

Garden Fresh Vegetable Zucchini Pasta
I was recently sent a product that I am so excited about. It is called the Veggetti and makes spaghetti shapes out of different vegetables. It is so easy to use which really amazed me. You just put the vegetable in there that you want to make "noodles" out of and start turning. Right away, you get lots of strands of vegetables. My husband and I were both impressed.

For this recipe, I used my dad's homegrown zucchini which turned out awesome. You can also make "noodles" out of carrots, potatoes, cucumbers and squash.

Veggetti
I really like this because it gives you the opportunity to have a much healthier meal for a lot less calories than regular pasta. It would be good for those who are trying to eat healthier, lose weight, are diabetics or require a gluten-free diet.

The Veggetti is super easy to clean and can just be thrown in the dishwasher. This product is super affordable at just $13.17 on Amazon. It can also be found at Walmart, Walgreens, CVS and Bed Bath and Beyond.

Ingredients:
2 large zucchini
1/2 medium onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 large tomatoes, diced
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 fresh jalapeno, minced
1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil

Directions:
1. Using a spiralizer, make the zucchini into tiny strips.
2. If you want to eat this recipe raw, you can add all of the toppings together and enjoy.
3. If you want to cook your "pasta" (which I ended up doing), add 1 1/2 tablespoons of olive oil to a skillet and let heat up.
4. Toss all ingredients and saute for about 5 minutes until zucchini and onions are tender.
**You can also top this dish with grilled chicken which is delicious.
