Foods I've Tried Lately 4 + Bob's Red Mill Giveaway

Bob's Red Mill Products
1. Bob's Red Mill- I have been a fan of Bob's Red Mill products for a long time and especially love the variety of healthy products that they have to offer. From unique grains to flour to cereals to beans and much more, Bob's Red Mill has it all. I have been purchasing Bob's Red Mill wheat berries for a long time which I love to use in soup for some texture instead of rice or barley.

Bob's Red Mill Products
I was sent some of the ground flax and chia seeds- both which I use daily in my oatmeal. I love dried cherries and these ones are perfectly chewy and full of that tart cherry flavor I love. A product that I am excited to make soup with is the 13 bean blend from Bob's Red mill. I love beans and 13 different kinds will be awesome. I also requested to try the chana dal beans and the whole grain kasha because those are foods that I have not had before. I love trying different whole grains, beans and other plant based products. Hey, that is why I am called The Nutritionist Reviews I guess!

Le Grand Courtage Sparkling Wine
2. Le Grand Courtage Sparkling Wine- Life has been busy, busy, busy lately. Between blog trips, work, blog projects, birthday parties and more, Troy and I have not had a lot of alone time together. One Friday night, we put Adalyn down to bed and opened up a bottle of this Le Grand Courtage wine in the brut variety and just sat and talked all evening. It was great! We got to reconnect and enjoy the wine.

We both loved the flavor and the bubbles in the wine. It is a premium French sparkling wine. It was not sweet at all which was nice too. I would definitely purchase this wine in the future.

Planet Rice Foods
3. Planet Rice- I love cooking with rice but it has to be nutritious. I am not a fan of white rice because it is a refined carbohydrate. I always choose a whole-grain rice because of the extra fiber and nutrients. The rice from Planet Rice comes in three different varieties: California Blonde Rice, Quinoa + Sprouted Rice and California Brown Rice.

I used this in a batch of my stuffed bell pepper soup and it turned out great! Because the rice is sprouted, it is slightly sweeter and nuttier than typical brown rice. It cooks quicker which is important to me because I always have limited time getting dinner on the table. It also has a longer shelf life so you can buy in bulk and it will last longer.

My grandmother used to use BobsRedMill selections back in the day but I don't think I've ever brought more than one into my kitchen. I need to change that.
