The Best Products of 2017 Part 3

Commercial Silk Flowers

1. Commercial Silk

It is currently winter in Michigan which means that it is super cold out, always. I love having fresh flowers in the house for a burst of cheeriness but they die so fast. I was recently contacted by Commerical Silk which sells many different faux plants, flower arrangements, topiaries, hedges and more. I chose this beautiful arrangement and am very happy with it.

It looks very real and brings some brightness to my dining room table. I like the square glass container which has a very clean look and the fake water in there looks so real. What I like also is that I can actually keep it out year-round, not just in the winter. My arrangement has hydrangeas, roses and agapanthus flowers in it.

2. The Little Kernel Mini Popcorn

We have a new winter tradition as a family that I love. After dinner some nights, Troy, Adalyn and I cuddle up and watch part of a movie together. So far, we have watched Cinderella, The Grinch, Frozen and Beauty and the Beast. It is so fun watching classic movies with our daughter (which if you know me, you should be shocked because I typically hate cartoons).

Adalyn's favorite snack to have during our movie nights is popcorn. We love this popcorn from The Little Kernel. Since Adalyn is still pretty young, I feel good knowing that the popcorn is in smaller pieces for her to chew (plus we always supervise her of course). I love the sweet and salty kettle popcorn the best. They are popped in olive oil and are hulless.

Mediterra Bars

3. Mediterra Bars

Adalyn is always asking me for "snack bars" as she calls them and loves all kinds including these from Mediterra. They recently came out with the lemon and walnuts and fig and almond bars which is part of their yogurt and oat bar line. What is especially unique about this brand is that they have savory bars as well as sweet ones. Adalyn seems to like both!
Tommy's Superfoods

4. Tommy's Superfoods

I am a big fan of quick meals, especially when they are healthy options. I was sent these frozen vegetables to try and am a big fan. The root fusion blend has turnips, carrots, apples and beets along with spices. The sodium is quite low which is important to me. The Brussels sprouts blend is delicious too with a BBQ seasoning, mushrooms, red bell peppers and green onions. These are not your typical plain frozen vegetables and I love that they add a nutritious side dish in a pinch.
