I don't know if you know this but we have a popcorn addict in my house! My 3-year old asks for popcorn every single day after dinner and also wants hot chocolate and to watch a movie. She doesn't get it every single night but let's just say that we have been enjoying more popcorn than ever before.

I've always been a fan of popcorn because it's delicious of course but is also higher in fiber and often lower in calories than other salty snacks. I always have fun eating popcorn as an evening snack with my husband and daughter.

I feel good knowing that we are having a whole-grain snack that also feels like a treat. When my daughter asks for chips or cookies or something, those are snacks that are okay sometimes but not snacks that I want her having often. Popcorn is healthy enough that she can eat it regularly which is great because it's her favorite. One of my favorite popcorn varieties is JOLLY TIME Healthy Pop Microwave Pop Corn. I had so many fun popcorn mix-in ideas and chose my 5 favorites: peanut butter popcorn, garlic bread popcorn, apple cinnamon popcorn, s'mores popcorn and smoky BBQ popcorn. To make all 5 of these, it took me maybe 15 minutes total. That means each one takes about 3 minutes to make. It doesn't get any easier than that! They all tasted great but I have to say that my favorites are the peanut butter popcorn, apple cinnamon popcorn and garlic bread popcorn!

Peanut Butter Popcorn

Thanks to the coconut oil, the peanut butter mixture will slightly harden on popcorn for a less-mess treat!

Ingredients:
1 bag JOLLY TIME Healthy Pop Crispy 'n White Microwave Pop Corn
1/2 cup peanut butter powder
3 tablespoons coconut oil

Instructions: Melt coconut oil and mix in peanut butter powder. Pour popcorn into a bowl and mix with peanut butter mixture.


Garlic Bread Popcorn

All the flavors from your favorite garlic bread make this popcorn taste just like garlic bread!

Ingredients:
1 bag JOLLY TIME Healthy Pop Butter Microwave Pop Corn
1-2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese

Instructions: Mix all ingredients together and enjoy!



Apple Cinnamon Popcorn

Super kid-friendly and tastes similar to apple pie!

Ingredients:
1 bag JOLLY TIME Healthy Pop Butter Microwave Pop Corn
1 finely chopped apple
1 tablespoon apple pie spice or cinnamon

Instructions: Mix all ingredients together and enjoy!

Smoky BBQ Popcorn

Smoky and tastes similar to BBQ chips but is much lighter.

Ingredients:
1 bag JOLLY TIME Healthy Pop Butter Microwave Pop Corn
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon sugar

Instructions: Mix all ingredients together and enjoy!

S'mores Popcorn

Easier and healthier than your favorite s'mores treat and ready in just a few minutes!

Ingredients:
1 bag JOLLY TIME Healthy Pop Butter Microwave Pop Corn
1/3 cup mini marshmallows
1/4 cup chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
1/4 cup chopped graham crackers

Instructions: Mix all ingredients together and enjoy!
