July Product Review Favorites Part 2

A review of One Degree Organics cereal, Silver Hills Bakery bagels and Honey Stinger energy snacks.

One Degree Organic Cereal

My kids have gotten really into eating cereal for breakfast the last few months. We eat a variety of things like eggs, Greek yogurt, pancakes, oatmeal, etc. too but their most often requested breakfast is cold cereal. When I got this package of cereals from One Degree Organics, they were so excited that I found them opening the boxes of these right away.

I am a fan of the cacao O's which taste great on their own or with milk. They are crunchier than other similar brands of cereal. The secret ingredient is garbanzo beans. I love that this cereal has beans in it because it adds protein and fiber. A 3/4 cup serving has 3 grams of fiber and 4 grams of protein.

Silver Hills Bagels

I love bagels but sometimes, they don't have enough nutrition for my liking and do not fill me up. I am a big fan of these Silver Hills bagels, especially the organic sprouted power bagels in the everything flavor. They are soft and chewy on their own and awesome toasted as well. One bagel has 210 calories, 4 grams of fiber and 8 grams of protein. That's awesome nutrition stats for a bagel! They are made with whole-wheat flour and have a yummy everything seasoning blend. Everything from Silver Hills is really good. They have tons of healthy bread varieties, English muffins, pizza crusts and more.

Honey Stinger Sports Snacks

My husband has been running most days of the week and needs to eat something right afterwards, otherwise, he doesn't feel the best. He has been enjoying these Honey Stinger chews, waffles and cracker bars. They are made for sports and would be good for an athlete that does intense and long workouts. Each flavor tastes delicious and doesn't taste fake like some other sports energy products.
