This post has been sponsored by Betty Crocker. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Tips for Baking with Kids including how to make baking fun and less stressful so you can make more memories with your kids! My kids are ages 6, 4, and 2 and I love to get in the kitchen with them and cook and bake. You may remember that when I wrote my cookbook 30 Minute Family Cookbook, my 6 year old Adalyn helped with a bunch of the recipes! I think it is important to teach kids basic cooking and baking skills at a young age so that they are comfortable cooking when they are adults. Plus, it is a lot of fun! I'm going to show you how my kids and I love making the Betty Crocker™ Birthday Cake Cookie Cups together.

Teaching Our Kids To Swim with Goldfish Swim School

The best swim school: Goldfish Swim School and how we are teaching our kids to swim with Goldfish swim lessons! In January, we re-enrolled in Goldfish Swim School. We took about a 6 month break due to having baby Lily and it being about a 40 minute drive each way. Just a little bit too much of a commitment with a newborn. When Lily turned 6 months old, I re-enrolled Adalyn and Oliver at Goldfish Swim School Macomb and I couldn't be happier.

From a young age on, I have encouraged my kids to play independently where they aren't just relying on mom and dad to entertain them. Today, I want to share my tips for encouraging your kids’ imaginations.

Tips for Water Safety for Kids

Tips for Water Safety for Kids

Tips for water safety for kids includes taking swim lessons, supervising kids, wearing a life jacket and more so that kids are safe in the water and can have fun!   Water safety for kids is so important. Especially where I live and all of the places that we visit all summer long that have water. We go to my parent's farm with a large pond, we go to lots of Michigan lakes, our city has a huge pool, etc. Pretty much 4-5 days a week, we are at the water in the summer and it is so much fun. Therefore, we are super cautious with water safety for the kids as drowning is a huge concern.
