Tina Steinberg Review and Giveaway

Since becoming a mom, I find myself more and more sentimental about different things. Every little thing of Adalyn's is special to me. I want to take tons of pictures so I don't miss everything, etc. I recently discovered Tina Steinburg which is a company that makes unordinary personalized jewelry. They have different necklaces that can include baby's fingerprint, personalized names on jewelry, etc. For my review, I was kindly send this necklace which says "Adalyn" on one charm and "Mom" on the other. On the other side, there is a heart and "9.20.14" which is her birthdate. I have barely taken off this necklace since I received it. I love it so much! It means so much to me now that I am a mom. The items are not too expensive and would make awesome gifts for the holidays. When my mom saw my necklace, she loved it and asked where she could get one herself. Dreft Review and Giveaway

This review and giveaway was made possible by Double Duty Divas and Dreft. I received product free of charge, but all opinions are 100% mine. With a new baby, I am doing laundry all the time. I had heard good things about Dreft products but had not tried them until now. When I received this package, I literally squealed because I was so excited to try these products made specially for baby. I was sent Dreft detergent, wipes, laundry stain remover, to-go stain remover and odor eliminator and fabric refresher. Prices range from $4-19 each depending on the product. The day after I received these products, I did a load of laundry with the Dreft detergent. I was happy with the results. It got the stains out that I needed it to and left the clothing smelling fresh. Adalyn's clothes and other items came out clean. It comes in a normal sized bottle but is quite concentrated. Munchkin LATCH Bottle

My husband feeds her this bottle anywhere from 10:30 PM-midnight depending on when she wakes up. This is a nice bonding time for them and also lets me get some rest and take a little break. Magic Sleepsuit Review and Giveaway

I have heard amazing things on many different blogs about Baby Merlin's Magic Sleepsuit. Prior to finding this website on another blog, I had never heard of this product. What it is is an outfit for babies to wear once they transition out of the swaddle and want freedom of movement. Right now, at one month old, Adalyn loves to be swaddled but can bust out of it pretty quick (depending on the brand). I know that she will not like it forever and we will be using the Magic Sleepsuit soon. It is supposed to give babies a cozy and secure feeling which muffling their startle reflexes to help with sleep. Adalyn is always getting startled and her hands always go up which often wakes her up. This would help a lot. We joke that she is rapping or saying hello when she gets startled. Newborn Sleep Update and Tips

Don't wake the sleeping baby! With daylight savings time approaching, it can be a little nerve racking for moms with babies and toddlers because they may be concerned that it will mess up their sleeping routine. Right now, Adalyn is 1 month old. We don't really have a "routine" down per se but we are getting there. I go to bed early in hopes to get some sleep (8:30-9 PM). Troy takes care of Adalyn from that time until 11 or 11:30 PM where he gives her a pumped bottled and then puts her to bed. She then gets up every 2-3 hours to eat until the morning. It is a little rough right now feeding her 3-4 times per night but I know that it is only temporary until she gets a bit bigger. Tangy BBQ Pulled Pork with Lemon Coleslaw

Suave Family Perks

For years, I have used Suave products. My favorite Suave products are the deodorants and the lotions. Both of them have great smells and work well. I love that the lotion comes in big bottles with squirt pumps to make putting on lotion after my shower really easy. The deodorant with antiperspirant makes it so that I do not sweat a lot and smells very nice. Another thing that I like about Suave is that it is affordable. It is one of the lowest cost bath and body lines on the market but I think that their products do a good job. They have another product that I used to love as a kid which is the detangling spray. This spray smells really nice and does a great job of getting out the tangles. Total Relief Shampoo and Conditioner Review

I have super dry skin and hair. Year round, even in the summer, I have to use moisturizing products on my skin and hair because I get so dry. It can be really frustrating at times! I was recently able to try a new-to-me product called Total Relief shampoo and conditioner . It is an over the counter dandruff system that uses hydrocortisone in it. Hydrocortisone helps with anti-itch which is great for when the w eather is very dry. These products are free of sulfates, parabens and are safe to use on all types of hair. It can help to relieve itching, flaking and dandruff right after you use it for the first time! They were created by dermatologist Dr. Marder to help with itching. This review is sentimental to me for a few reasons. For the last few years, I have reviewed an Ornaments with Love ornament each year. The first year was when Troy and I bought our first house and now, we have a baby. Ornaments with Love sells tons of different ornaments for your every interest and event in your life. These ornaments from them signify the wonderful changes that have occurred in our lives. This year, I was able to order an ornament for "Baby's First Christmas".
