Protein Snacks Review and Giveaway

The Protein Cookie Co.
1. The Protein Cookie Co.- I was sent some protein cookies from The Protein Cookie Co. to try. These cookies are soft and chewy and make a tasty, protein rich snack. Troy and I sampled these right when we got them and I liked the classic peanut butter chip the best and he liked the oatmeal raisin. Troy loves desserts even though he denies it and these are a great addition to his lunch. He has limited time to eat as a teacher and needs heavier food to have at work and these are good for him.

The Protein Cookie Co.
They are very high in protein with 16-18 grams. For me, I would stick to 1/2 a cookie at a time since they are higher in calories (about 240-275 calories each). What I love about these is that they are made with real ingredients. For example, the peanut butter cookie is made with 100% whole wheat flour, whey protein, stevia, canola oil, eggs, peanut butter chips and a fruit puree blend. For a cookie, these are quite healthy. For someone like my husband especially, something with higher calories like this is great and I like giving him something that is not too unhealthy for him.

ips Egg White Chips
2. ips Egg White Chips- When I was contacted to try ips egg white chips, I was interested because I had never tried anything like this previously. From reading my blog, you know I love to try any kind of food out there so I was interested to see what these were like. These chips has 6 grams of protein and half the fat of regular chips. They are gluten-free and contain no artificial ingredients.

Each bag has 130 calories but is higher in sodium with some varieties having 270 mg of sodium. They come in cinnamon, aged white cheddar, sea salt & black pepper and barbeque flavors. My favorites are the barbeque and the cinnamon. These taste like a healthier chip and have a lot of flavor. I enjoyed these as a snack and would buy them again.
