5 of Baby's Under-Celebrated Milestones

The first year of a baby's life, there are constantly many "firsts" that are happening. First time sitting up, first time rolling over, first time walking, first Christmas, first time eating solids, etc. etc. We have enjoyed celebrating not only all of those but also, all the little firsts that mean so much to us but are not as commonly celebrated.

Here are some of Adalyn's firsts:
 1. First time picking fruit- Adalyn and I are obsessed with fruit and she learned how to pick her own fruit a couple of months ago!

 2. First tractor ride- Riding a tractor with my dad at his farm is something that we have been looking forward to for years even before Adalyn was born. Finally, she got to ride the tractor with him and loved it.
 3. First time meeting the dogs- You all know that I am obsessed with my dogs and now, Adalyn is too. This was her first time meeting them right after she came home from the hospital.

 4. First modeling gig- Haha, just kidding! This was from her newborn shoot. She has had about a million more photo shoots since then with the photographer (AKA me).

5. First time in the pond- Another one at my parent's farm. They have a good sized pond there that we can swim in and this was Adalyn's first time in it. She loved it!

We recently received some fun toys for Adalyn from VTech to help meet baby's milestones. We got to try out the VTech spin and learn ball tower where colored balls spin and slide down which helps kids learn numbers and colors. It has more than 100 songs, sounds and phrases. This toy is for 9-36 months.

We also received the sit-to-stand ultimate alphabet train, spinning lights learning hippo and the write and learn creative center. The sit-to-stand ultimate alphabet train has 10 activities where the kids can learn letters, numbers, colors and more. It is for kids aged 12-36 months.

This write and learn creative center looks so awesome! So much to play with and learn. Adalyn has been having fun playing with these. All of these VTech toys will be fun for Adalyn in the coming months and years!

Disclosure: We were sent free VTech products to review. All opinions are my own.
