February 2019 Product Review Favorites Part 3 + Giveaway

Lolë Activewear

Lolë Activewear

I had heard great things about Lolë and love trying out new workout clothes. I am 17 weeks pregnant in these pictures and still am running twice a week. It is going great still! I chose the Just Cardigan to try out which is a thicker jacket with pockets and reflective logos perfect for running in the dark. It is comfortable and stays put when running.

My favorite item is the Burst Edition leggings. They have a super soft peachskin fabric that feels great on my skin. I like the thick waistband and the leggings stay put while running. They have a slip-in pocket on the side for your phone which I would use for walking in these and a zippered pocket which I would put my key and chapstick. The fabric is moisture wicking and the fabric is compressive. I am a big fan! I showed my running partner (my dad) these and he thought that they seemed high quality and were cool. Any kind of irritation with clothes during running makes me never wear them again during a run and so far, I'm loving these from Lolë.

Degusta Box

Degusta Box

This month's Degusta Box had a "big game" theme which was fun. We loved the fun candy taco for a sweet candy treat- candy is totally my pregnancy craving right now. The sourdough pretzel rings make a great snack and would be awesome with a cheese fondue sauce. Unpictured is BeanSmash! bean dip which is ready in about 6 minutes and we made them for the Big Game for part of our appetizer stadium we made. It was really good!

I love peanut butter powder in my oatmeal mix and mixed into my yogurt and this PBfit brand is really good. Finally, I look forward to sprinkling this Manitou Trading Company Truffle, Parmesan and Black Garlic seasoning on roasted vegetables. I love truffle flavor.d

Jovial Foods

Jovial Foods

I had tried a couple of Jovial products in the past and was excited to experiment with more. They use a certain kind of wheat called Einkorn which they make different whole-grain products with. I loved the whole-wheat rigatoni with 9 grams of protein per serving and it is the only wheat that is not hybridized. I made a homemade pasta sauce with the crushed tomatoes, garlic, spices and added in veggies and topped with parmesan cheese. What a delicious meal! I look forward to baking with the flour soon.
