November 2019 Product Review Favorites + Modern Pop Pops Giveaway

A review of Purely Elizabeth granolas, The Modern Pop pops and La Pitchoune wines. Plus, a giveaway for The Modern Pop pops.

The Modern Pop Pops

I'm really excited to share about these Modern Pops because every single flavor is delicious! The strawberry lemonade is my favorite and tastes like real fruit and makes a great treat for only 45 calories. It is mostly made with strawberries and lemon juice with some sugar.

I also really enjoyed the avocado based bars. I ate these when I had a cold and had a sore throat and the cold was so soothing. I was thankful that they were vegan since dairy really messes with me when I have a cold. I think it is awesome that they are avocado based and you truly cannot tell. The chocolate oh fudge bars are great and so are the cookies 'n dream bars. They are very creamy despite having no cream or milk and make a delicious healthier treat

Purely Elizabeth Granola

Purely Elizabeth Granola

I've tried varieties of Purely Elizabeth granola in the past but had never had their grain-free varieties. Oh my goodness, the vanilla almond butter granola is so delicious! One serving has 5 grams of protein and only 5 grams of sugar and tastes amazing on its own or in yogurt. They come in pretty big clusters so you can snack on them on their own if you like. It is made with pumpkin seeds, cashews and sunflower seeds as the base and baked with almond butter and other ingredients. Very tasty!

I also really like the maple walnut probiotic granola. I'm all about probiotics for gut health and having them in a granola is a unique way. The bars make a great mid-morning snack. I just have to hide them so my 2 year old doesn't eat them all before I get any!

La Pitchoune Wines

La Pitchoune Wines

La Pitchoune wines are made in Sonoma County but are inspired by the South of France. Their name means "small production" and they made delicious wine. I especially enjoyed the chenin blanc which has aromas of green melon, honeysuckle and lychee. I like it best chilled and it has a really fresh and light flavor. They also sell a rose, chardonnay and pinot noir. This would be perfect for serving at holiday parties.
