I Wrote a Cookbook!! + Giveaway

I am so, so excited to announce that I wrote my very first cookbook! I didn't exactly know that it was a dream of mine but when the opportunity presented itself, I got super excited and thought it was a great idea. I have been developing recipes for this blog for 11 years and have been cooking my entire life so it was a natural progression.

**Keep reading for how to win my new cookbook- I'm giving away 3 copies!

Making Roasted Garlic Hummus!

The cookbook is called 30-Minute Family Cookbook- 100 Simple and Healthy Recipes to Enjoy Together. It was SO much fun writing the cookbook. Adalyn and I spent many days in the kitchen making a bunch of recipes together. Really, she should be written as the co-author of this cookbook because she truly helped so much! She helped taste everything and give suggestions. Best 6-year-old assistant in the world!

**Pre-order my 30-Minute Family Cookbook here!

Creamy Street Corn Salad

The cookbook is full of recipes we make in our home kitchen. Many of them are recipes that my family has made for years. The Dijon green beans on the cover are my signature recipe that my family always asks me to make. Some are new that I developed just for the cookbook. Either way, all 100 are delicious.

We love these Chocolate Caramel Pretzel Peanut Bites!

Over 25 of the recipes use 5-ingredients or less for quick and super easy meals- for those nights when you don't want to cook or don't have a ton of ingredients on hand. Over 25 of the recipes are made in just one pot, pan, sheet pan or dish.

This Orange Chicken is a healthier takeout option!

Here are some of my favorite recipes in the cookbook:

-Orange Chicken- this one was new to me and is now a family staple.

I started writing the cookbook in November and had so much fun putting this together. I learned so much in the process including how to write the recipes in better way. I have truly loved this process and can't wait for all of you to check out my cookbook.

This Roasted Garlic Hummus will always be special to me since Adalyn helped perfect the recipe!

-Roasted Garlic Hummus- developed by my 6-year-old and I!

-Mushroom and Broccoli Ramen Noodle Soup- Got us really into ramen soup bowls.

-Creamy Street Corn Salad

-S'mores Cereal Bars

-Beef and Vegetable Soup- So, so easy but tastes so delicious! Uses frozen veggies which makes for a super easy dinner.

-Sheet Pan Peanut Chicken- I could eat this peanut sauce on everything!

Real life behind the scenes of me pretty much every evening for weeks testing recipes! Slippers and all.

***The cookbook officially comes out on June 8th but you can pre-order the cookbook now!

I always thought you should compile your best recipes into a book, and your photography is fantastic, so this isn't a surprise, really. Plus, I have made many of your recipes myself, so it would be wonderful to have some favorites in one convenient place. Congratulations!! That's such wonderful news!!
