Gut-Health

As a dietitian, I know the importance of gut-health. I can't tell you how many times over the last year, people have come to me with different nutrition questions and so many times, my answer is to try out a probiotic and to eat probiotic-rich foods like yogurt, kefir, kombucha, sauerkraut, etc.

Vitamin World® Probiotic 16 is a great probiotic option with a blend of 20 billion live probiotic cultures in 16 different strains. It helps to support digestion, promote immune system balance and helps maintain a healthy gut microbiome. I personally notice a difference in my digestion with a probiotic and have taken a probiotic for years! 70% of the immune system resides in the gut and maintaining a balance is so helpful for overall health.

Vitamin World’s Psyllium Husk is an effective form of soluble fiber which works in your digestive tract to promote regularity, supports cholesterol health and helps you feel full. The Vitamin World's Magnesium Citrate can aid in digestive and metabolic function and can be a helpful tool for those who may need it.

Along with this nutritious pumpkin pie yogurt bowl, these products work work well to support gut health. The yogurt bowl is rich in probiotics like the Vitamin World probiotics. It also has fiber from the raspberries, nuts and pumpkin which will aid in digestion like the psyillium husk.

This Pumpkin Pie Yogurt Bowl already packs probiotics from Greek yogurt, but to fully support gut balance, I pair it with Vitamin World's Probiotic 16. I also take their Psyllium Husk for extra fiber and Magnesium Citrate to keep my digestion on track—a complete morning gut-health routine! How to Make a Pumpkin Pie Yogurt Bowl

Pumpkin Pie Yogurt Bowl Nutrition

I'm all about Greek yogurt for the taste and thick texture but it is also packed with nutrients. It is loaded with protein, probiotics for gut health and calcium for your bones. Pumpkin is loaded with vitamin A, potassium, fiber and beta-carotene. Adding real pumpkin puree to this yogurt makes it a great choice- most pumpkin products on the market don't use real pumpkin or at least not much of it. I also added some fiber and healthy fat rich toppings like the nuts and raspberries for the fiber. This Pumpkin Pie Yogurt Bowl would make a wonderful breakfast or snack.
