Fresh Food at Moe's Southwest Grill

This post is sponsored by Moe’s Southwest Grill; however, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.
Troy and I love to go out to eat at what we call "in-between restaurants". Not quite fast food but not quite sit-down meals either. The kind where you order at the counter and can choose options for your meal. They seem to be a little nicer quality than completely fast-food but are still affordable and you get your food pretty quickly (which is important with young kids).
I recently had the opportunity to try Moe's Southwest Grill for the first time. I had seen it before when I traveled to Florida and was surprised to see that we had one within a decent driving distance of our house. We decided to make a day of it and visit some other fun places that we wanted to see this summer since it was about an hour from our house. We visited the Ann Arbor, MI location.

When I visit a restaurant, I want the food to look and taste delicious but also be fairly healthy. Moe's has some healthier options including a whole-grain tortilla, tofu, chicken, beans and lots of fresh produce to add to your food. I was impressed! My favorite thing is that the food is customizable which I love being able to choose my favorites.

Let's just say that Moe's is toddler approved!
I learned a lot about Moe's and I wanted to share with you some of the information about just how fresh their food is. Their chicken is grilled fresh each hour- no old yucky chicken! The guacamole and salsa are made fresh every morning. Their food is prepped fresh in-house each day. They have gluten-free options, low-carb or more indulgent items such as the queso- something for everyone!

They have 20+ fresh and flavorful ingredients to choose from for each meal. I love that each meal comes with free chips and salsa- my favorite! The chips are made fresh daily. Each Moe's is locally owned and operated. By the way, M.O.E.'s stands for Musicians, Outlaws, and Entertainers! Something that I really like is that on their site, you can find out the nutrition facts for your meal by clicking on each customizable item.

When we went to Moe's, we had a great experience. The staff was friendly and ordering was easy with the customized menu. I ordered the Close Talker Salad with chicken. I chose the black beans, corn salsa, mushrooms, green peppers, cucumber and the vinaigrette. Troy got the homewrecker burrito with chicken, black beans, green peppers, cheese, sour cream and more.

We were both very happy with our food. It was super fresh and we liked everything we had. The best part was the salsa bar where you can serve yourself any of five different salsas. Of course, we had to try them all. I liked the tomatillo salsa though it was loaded with cilantro which I am not a fan of but the fresh flavor was awesome. We also liked the Who is Kaiser and El Guapo salsas. My family all loves condiments and salsa so I texted them all that they need to try Moe's for the salsa especially.

Adalyn enjoyed everything, especially the chips and salsa. Let's just say that the mushrooms and chicken also got dunked into the tomatillo salsa! Every last bite of everything that we ordered was eaten- so good! We were super happy with our meal and would definitely return.
