Fall Grilling Ideas

Disclosure: This post is sponsored by Hebrew National ® . All opinions are my own. When the weather cools down, it is easy to forget about using the grill. Every summer, I always question why we quit grilling until the following spring because grilled food is my very favorite. That grilled flavor is the best and grilling is one of the simplest cooking methods in my opinion. I enjoyed creating some different grilled recipes to make this fall. Don't cover up that grill just yet! Just put on a little jacket and some jeans if you need to and get out there and grill (I am talking to myself with this one too)! I made grilled apple crisp packets using fall's freshest and most delicious apples, grilled fall-inspired vegetables and a homemade vegetable hash to top my entrĂ©e. My assistant and the true chef of this meal can be seen strapped to my chest in the picture above ; ). See, lots of fall foods can be grilled! Can we just talk about grilled apple crisp for a second? Maty's Healthy Products for Baby

Having a blast in our backyard pool! You know that with Adalyn, her health and wellness is my top priority. I love to try different products for her to see which ones work the best and like to try to find the most natural products that I can. Babies have sensitive skin and you don't want them to be covered in a bunch of chemicals. I recently got to try out a couple of Maty's Healthy Products for Adalyn including their baby ointment and chest rub . The baby ointment is a natural alternative to Vaseline and helps to prevent diaper rash. It nourishes and protects baby's skin while promoting healing. We have been very, very lucky that Adalyn has only had a diaper rash a couple of times and each time, it was mild. When we notice that she has any redness on the diaper area, we just put a bit of baby ointment on her and it helps to get her cleared up before it turns into something worse.  This product retails for $7.99-$13.99 depending on the size that you buy. Babysoy Review and Giveaway

Doesn't my baby look so big here? Gosh, she is getting big so fast! The weather is going to start cooling down soon so I have been trying to stock-up on fall and winter clothes for my girl. I love cute outfits that are also comfortable since she loves to play and found some great pieces from Babysoy. They are a bit big right now but will fit her better in a couple months. I have had one of these reversible hoodies from Babysoy and really like them. The material is soft and I like that you are getting 2-for-1 since they are different colors on each side and are reversible. I chose the pink lemonade one which is pink on one side and yellow on the other. Doesn't the leggings and Pumas just look so cute with it? I also love the fleece hoodie which is heavier weight and will be great for fall and winter with a long sleeved t-shirt underneath it. The ears are too cute! I was also sent the one piece kimono which is unpictured because someone was teet

5 Tips for Parents with Babies on the Move

Adalyn is walking!!! At 9 1/2 months, she started taking steps on her own. At 10 months, she could take about 6-8 steps at a time before falling on her butt. At 10 1/2 months, she seemed to really get the hang of walking and could go quite a bit further. We are proud parents. Once she started moving, there were some changes that we made to make things safe and fun for her! Here are some of my tips: 1. Babyproof what needs to be, but not everything Some people baby proof everything in their homes but that was not the approach we wanted to take. We put up gate by all of our stairs so that Adalyn wouldn't fall down the stairs or crawl up them when we didn't want her to. We also removed all chemicals from under the sink and moved anything out of reach that she couldn't have: glass containers, picture frames, etc. We decided not to put latches on everything, outlet covers, toilet latches, etc. Instead, we watch Adalyn closely and never leave her unattended

NUX Activewear Review and Giveaway

I've written about how important exercise is to me many times. I try to make exercise a daily occurrence in my life and feel my best when I do. When I workout, I like clothing that fits well, is high quality and feels good during my workout. I was just sent some awesome workout clothes from NUX activewear to review. I have an outfit from NUX that is 5 years old and is still in perfect shape. These clothes stand up well to sweat, washing and wear. In the beginning, they may be more expensive than some brands but last a very long time. I was sent the serra leggings in pink wave. I love these because they stand out and are not your typical black leggings. They are very tight and provide some compression. Holding them up, they look like they would not fit but they fit perfectly. These will be great for the cooler days. My favorite item is the Riley tunic in grey. They material is so buttery soft. When I got the top, I made my husband feel it because I could
