Biena Chickpea Snacks

1. Biena Chickpea Snacks

You know that I love roasting my own chickpeas and have 5 different recipes on the blog with roasted chickpeas. While I do prefer to make my own, they don't travel or store super well so I like to buy roasted chickpeas to be able to take out and about with me and for traveling. Biena has lots of different flavors of roasted chickpeas. I am snacking on the dark chocolate covered roasted chickpeas right now and they are very tasty.

The rockin' ranch and barbeque are other favorites. I love that these come in flavors that taste similar to something like chips but are protein and fiber packed. They taste great, are super crunchy and are a fun snack. These are great on a salad and the sweet ones would be fun in yogurt or oatmeal. I brought some of these up north for a family trip and the whole family couldn't stop eating them! My 3 year old who does not like spice loves the Habanero ones?!?

2. Food Backdrops by SM

I love photographing on a white surface and recently decided to switch things up and try out some different surfaces. I went on the best place ever to find handmade items, Etsy. I found a shop called Food Backdrops by SM and started talking to Shannon who makes these backdrops herself. She started making them when she was going though a difficult time in her life and found passion through creating these, travel and food. I love this story!

Shannon was so kind to send me one of her double sided backdrops in "concrete" and "sheet pan" which I love so much! The board is super light weight which I love so I'm not carting heavy boards all around my house. They are sealed which is great because with food photography, food drips on my surfaces all the time. They are easy to wipe up. I am obsessed with both and think that they make my photos look great. Keep an eye on upcoming recipes using these boards! You will be seeing them a lot.

3. FitSnack Box

-I am such a fan of these Tickle Waters! I have had the green apple and watermelon flavors and now grape! My favorite is the green apple but the grape was really tasty too! Carbonated and flavored without sugar or calories!
-This is my favorite flavor of RXBars- Chocolate Sea Salt! No junk ingredients and they taste really great. I ate these all summer long when we were on-the-go every day with the kids.
-Oats Over Night- I love overnight oats and chocolate peanut butter banana is so delicious! Plus, these have 34 grams of protein!
-If you are looking for a tasty candy-like treat, try these Honey Bunchies. They are super chewy (think Payday bar) and are honey based with peanuts and sunflower seeds. I really like them!
