The Best Products of 2018 Part 28

Fit Snack Subscription Box

1. Fit Snack Subscription Box

I enjoyed the Fit Snack box from this month. Here is what I thought of the different products:
-Pasta Chips- We love these with tuna salad and they are sturdy and full of flavor.
-Nothin But- I thought that the cherry cranberry was too sweet. I was not a fan.
-Nutiva coconut oil- I love Nutiva products and this coconut oil is great in baked goods or in a stir-fry.
-RX Nut Butter- I finally got my hands on some of this after seeing it all over Instagram for a couple months. It is super delicious! I love this brand anyways and now am a huge fan of their nut butter.
-The jerky is super tasty too!

Go Ready Made Meals

2. Go Ready Made Meals

Oh my goodness, these already cooked meals are so delicious! I absolutely loved the orzo and tomatoes which is cheesy and has a bunch of veggies. Troy really enjoyed the chicken parmesan and the kids split the breakfast platter which had potatoes, peppers, sausage, onions and an omelet. We all thought that our meals were awesome. The meals just need to be heated in the microwave for 1-3 minutes and they are ready to eat.

Life is so crazy right now and we are putting every extra second into our third floor renovation and these meals have been so perfect so that we can eat a tasty, nutritious meal quickly without having to cook it ourselves and spend a lot of time in the kitchen. Sometimes, meal services that offer already cooked foods do not offer a lot of fresh options and the veggies are often mushy but that is not the case with these! They were perfect.

Ona Bars and Cookies

3. Ona Bars and Cookies

These bars are gluten-free, grain-free, dairy-free and soy-free and are totally delicious! They use real ingredients such as honey, peanuts, sunflower seeds, coconut, apples, coconut oil and spices. These make a great snack or dessert even. I like keeping these in my purse for when hunger strikes when we are out and about with the kids. The maple pecan are one of my favorites! Also, fun fact, one of Adalyn's nicknames is Ona because she thought that Anna from Frozen's name was Ona and it eventually turned into her nickname : ).

  1. Hi Amanda - I enjoy your recipes and family content, but I'm a little confused by these "The Best Products" posts. In your opinion, are these really the best products out there, or are they just given to you for free? Would you spend your own money on all of these products?

    1. Hello, Thanks for the response! This is a weekly series where I review the different products sent to me for review purposes. I only feature products that I truly enjoy. I receive plenty that I don't like that never make it to the blog. If you read the individual review, it says what I think about it highlighting the good and bad parts of each. For example, in the post above, I wrote how I was not a fan of the "Nothin But" bars. I would never say I like something if I did not. Just as other bloggers write posts such as "coffee date topics", "fall items", etc. that they like. I hope that answers your questions. Feel free to reach out with any more questions- achernandez711@yahoo.com.
