Blackened Fish Tacos with Creamy Lime Coleslaw
I am typically not a huge fan of fish except for fish tacos. I learned how to make delicious fish tacos a couple of years ago and it has become one of our favorite Lent meals that can of course be enjoyed anytime. I served these Blackened Fish Tacos with Creamy Lime Coleslaw to my parents, husband and kids and everyone was a fan.

Blackened Fish Tacos with Creamy Lime Coleslaw are super easy to make and delicious. They take no more than 15 minutes to make the entire meal which is awesome if you don't want to spend a lot of time in the kitchen.

Fish tacos are high in protein and loaded with flavor. I used cod for this recipe but you could use any mild white fish. The creamy lime coleslaw was super easy to make too. I chopped my own red and green cabbage but you can buy a bag of coleslaw mix if you want to save a couple of minutes.

I love toasted corn tortillas because they have more flavor than a flour tortilla but feel free to use whatever you like. When I previewed this photo on social media, someone commented that they didn't like fish. You could easily swap the fish for chicken if you want.

The seasoning is what really gives these Blackened Fish Tacos flavor. I love doing a mix of smoked paprika, garlic powder and chili powder. If you cannot find smoked paprika, you could use a cajun spice blend. If you like spicy foods, you can add cayenne powder.
