Greek Scrambled Eggs

Every Saturday morning after my run, Troy makes the family breakfast. His signature dish is this Mexican Egg Scramble and recently, he switched it up and created these super delicious Greek Scrambled Eggs. They are so delicious and he has made them 4 times now. They have become our signature summer breakfast dish! I always share that I try to make sure I take my supplements in the morning so right after breakfast, Troy and I take our Terry Naturally® Vectomega omega-3 supplement which I will share more about below.

Scrambled Eggs with Feta

Tips for Making Greek Scrambled Eggs

-Wait to put the tomatoes in until the very end so they don't cook down to nothing.

-The fresh dill is key! Do not skip this unless you really have to. It provides so much flavor.

Veggie Eggs with Feta

-Use whatever veggies you have on hand. I would say the tomatoes are essential but the peppers, spinach, mushrooms and zucchini are all optional based on what you have on hand.

-The best sauce on these scrambled eggs is tzatziki sauce. Really though, these scrambled eggs do not need any sauce unless you want it. They have a ton of flavor on their own. You can buy it pre-made or make it in a few minutes yourself. This is my tzatziki recipe.

Vectomega omega 3 supplement

When to Take your Supplements

Right when I get done eating breakfast, I like to take my supplements. After my stomach has some food in it but before I forget as the day gets busy. In full transparency, I am not great about taking them every single day but aim for a few days a week in the summer and most days in the winter months. I am a big fan of taking omega-3 fatty acids.

Feta Cheese Scrambled Eggs

We do not eat a lot of seafood at all. We do eat a lot of chia seeds and ground flax but I still think we need additional omega-3 fatty acids in our diet which is why I take the Terry Naturally Vectomega® omega-3 supplements.

Terry Naturally Vectomega

The omega-3 in these Terry Naturally supplements comes from salmon and helps support a healthy brain, heart and eyes. It provides DHA and EPA omega-3 fatty acids. You just have to take one per day which I really like because a lot of omega-3 supplements require you to take 2-3 large pills which can feel like a lot.*
