High-Protein Snickers Bars

I love coming up with new and fun frozen treats each summer for my family and these Frozen Protein Snickers Bars are so good! I love adding in nutritious ingredients to our treats so they taste amazing but also pack some nutrition. These bars are loaded with protein but taste just like dessert. A win in my book!

How to Make Frozen Protein Snickers Bars

I had plain Greek yogurt on hand so I mixed it with some drippy natural peanut butter and either honey or maple syrup to make the base. I would also do vanilla Greek yogurt with or without the peanut butter- up to you!

I mixed it with Naked Beef Protein which has 21 grams of protein per serving and 17 grams of collagen. It is unflavored and is versatile in recipes. This protein is sourced from beef bones and is a great addition to my diet as someone who works out a lot. A benefit of this protein powder is that it's not just supportive to your muscles but also to your joints, tendons and connective tissue- all important for those who love to workout.

Then layer the protein yogurt mixture in a baking dish or a silicone tray. I used a silicone tray with individual spots to make the bars so I would not have to cut them after they freeze. Then, top with caramel sauce and peanuts and freeze. Once the bars are frozen, dip them in melted dark chocolate and top with sea salt. So good!
