I love to snack all day long. I try to limit myself so that I am not literally eating all day long but that is what I like to do. I try to keep a couple of things in mind when it comes to snacking. I like my snacks to contain protein to help keep me full. I want them to have fiber and want them to be fairly low in sugar and sodium.

Some of my favorite snacks are Greek yogurt, carrots, any kind of fruit, chips and salsa and bars. I love to keep protein bars in my desk at work for my morning snack. I always eat a snack somewhere between 10 and 11 which helps keep me full until lunchtime. I started making my own bars a couple of years ago and wanted to share a simple, tasty and filling recipe with you.
