I cook with beans all the time. My family loves them, they are nutritious and they are inexpensive. We almost always buy no-salt added beans in a can. I have cooked them from dry beans but it is not my favorite way to eat them. Regular canned beans have too much salt in my opinion so at the very least, I look for no-salt added options. My kids go crazy for black beans and kidney beans especially so we use a ton of those.
