These 7 snacks are high in protein to help keep you feeling your best. Berry Cheesecake Ice Cream

Berry Cheesecake Ice Cream  is a healthier frozen yogurt with just 5 ingredients, is packed full of protein with Greek yogurt and tastes like an indulgent dessert with rich cream cheese, berries and graham crackers. This post was sponsored by Optimum Nutrition as part of an Influencer Activation and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.  The weather is finally warmer and I'm craving all of the frozen treats! You know I love making healthier desserts, especially healthier ice creams. Making a healthy ice cream is my #1 favorite healthy hack because it always tastes so rich and delicious but is so much healthier for you. 5 Healthier Popcorn Mix-ins

5 healthier popcorn mix-ins for a fun and delicious snack: peanut butter popcorn, garlic bread popcorn, apple cinnamon popcorn, s'mores popcorn and smoky BBQ popcorn. I don't know if you know this but we have a popcorn addict in my house! My 3-year old asks for popcorn every single day after dinner and also wants hot chocolate and to watch a movie. She doesn't get it every single night but let's just say that we have been enjoying more popcorn than ever before. I've always been a fan of popcorn because it's delicious of course but is also higher in fiber and often lower in calories than other salty snacks. I always have fun eating popcorn as an evening snack with my husband and daughter.

How to Paint Kitchen Cabinets White in 5 Days for $150

We thought about having our kitchen cabinets painted for the last couple of years and put it off due to the high cost (I heard $2500-$3800 for our area). That was just not what I wanted to spend! We did the entire project for $150 and bought the best paint that I could find along with the products that were highly recommended. I could have probably done it for $100 but I wanted for it to be done right, for it to look amazing and to last for years to come. Before After! The whole project took 5 days. I’m not talking about 5 lazy days but about 5 days of working most of each day working on the cabinets. Our motivation to get them done quickly was that the kids would be grabbing the items out of the open cabinets and I wanted our house back in order quickly. Plus, I couldn’t wait to see the results!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Greek Yogurt Dip + Fifty Shades Freed Date Night

Chocolate Peanut Butter Greek Yogurt Dip is super easy to make with 4 ingredients! Pair with fruit, pretzels and more for a healthier delicious snack. I remember when I first got back into reading as an adult. I was a new dietitian at my first real job and wanted something to do during my lunch break. After hearing many good things about the Fifty Shades series of books, I decided to try them out for myself. My attention was quickly piqued. I read the series of three books so quickly and couldn't stop reading them. I remember one day, I was sitting outside on a beautiful summer day on my lunch break reading when my boss's boss asked me what I was reading. I'll never forget the shade of red that my face turned that day! When I found out that the Fifty Shades series was being turned into movies, I was so thrilled! I knew that a date night was in order and that this Chocolate Peanut Butter Greek Yogurt Dip would be the perfect snack. I've enjoyed watching each of th

What to Do, Where to Stay and What to Eat on Mackinac Island

The last time that I had been to Mackinac Island was in the 4th grade so it was time to visit again and bring my kiddos and I'm so glad that we did! 6 Morning Habits to Start Your Day Off Right

I am totally a morning person typically but lately, I've been dragging a bit! I don't know if it's Adalyn needing to go to the bathroom in the night or Oliver crying a couple of times due to teething or what but man, I'm tired! I notice that when I start my day off the right way, I feel so much better. I mean, no day is going to start out without a cup of coffee of course! There are certain things that when I skip, I notice the difference in my energy level right away. When I skip these habits, I notice myself wanting to relax on the couch more which isn't always a bad thing but I feel so much better when I'm productive.

Rainbow Vegetable Sandwich

Rainbow Vegetable Sandwich makes the perfect lunch with a mix of rainbow vegetables and a ranch cream cheese spread all on whole-grain bread! When I was younger, I have fond memories of going to our local fruit and vegetable market with my mom, brother, sister and I. We would load the cart up with all of the produce that we wanted which was always a huge overflowing cart because we loved our produce and were a hungry family of 5. When we got home, us kids would help my mom unload the groceries and immediately pull out all of the vegetables to make our favorite lunch: a loaded veggie sandwich.
